Parsons Buffet — Restaurant in Parsons

Stopped in for lunch today. Another customer entered right before us and took the 2nd to last booth along the wall. We took the last booth. After about 5 minutes the waiter oozed out and took his and our drink orders. A few minutes later, he came back to take food orders. Other guy ordered. We told him we were almost ready, still deciding on an appetizer. Another family comes in and sits 2 booths closer to the kitchen from "other guy". Few minutes later, waiter comes back with "other guy's" food. We're ready, menus on the edge of the table. The waiter is now 3 feet from me. He IGNORES us, turns around and takes drink orders from the new group on his way back to the kitchen. Few minutes later, he comes out and waits on a guy about 10 feet from us. Looked right at us. And went back to the kitchen. I'm thinking, "Is this dude trying to "teach us a lesson" for not deciding fast enough?" After a few seconds, I decide to give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he's stoned or it's his first day... Waited a few more minutes and then gave up and left. Moved here 3 years ago and the first place we went was awesome. As a result, we go there almost exclusively. They were closed today, so we figured we'd give another place a shot. 15 minute drive to your place. 35 minute drive to my go-to place. You shot, missed, and killed...

I don't like usually doing this and let me say the staff are very nice but the last two times I have ordered the food wasn't what I thought It should be. I have ordered pizza which was good but the last time I ordered a large I received what appeared to be a small, medium at best. I had a huge box with a little bitty pizza lol. I called thinking I might have gotten the wrong order and was told the can shrink....this was a whole lot of shrinkage and wasn't my first pizza order there. I was told to look at it before hand. They were no rude at all but I don't feel I should have been charged from the start for a large. I have not ordered a pizza since but ordered a salad the other day and it was a large bed of ice berg mix which is ok...I like that type but is was lacking in my opinion in cheese and it looked like I got some of a chicken breast. Nice people just hit or miss in my opinion and it could be what I ordered other things might be...

I am one of there biggest fans and I order every week the same exact thing. Problem some week they charge me under $12 and some weeks they charge me under $13. I asked why 2 times and can't get an answer. I'm told that how they are told to ring it up but I have had the same person at the register half the time so I see a problem. The last two times I have ordered the meat on my burger was dry not juicy like it was. I think they have changed there meat. Still good food just some problems with the meat and price. Hope they they straighten this out because it's upsetting when I expect to pay one thing and get charged another than have...
