07/02/2022 I honestly almost swerved when I looked right and saw this place I was in aww and im assuming they had just opened because there's one in northside that I would always go to but started being too far for me to go on the daily but honestly my favorite place to go all the time. When I walked in I felt like I was visiting family , I had the young lady greeting us and allowing us to sit wherever we'd like and taking care of us from there. I ordered the breakfast torta and my dad ordered pozole , I kinda stole some of his pozole because it looked so good and I also had a hangover but I really wanted to try the torta and the bread was way different then any ordinary torta bread and it's so thick I took some off and dipped it in the pozole , great idea too if your really hungry like me 😅. Time passed by and we were greeted by the head chef of the restaurant to assure the quality of our meal and we had a nice conversation, he had advised me the young lady taking care of us was his daughter and he had other family working together at this restaurant which is even better because you can tell how much love went into this place and their food , I loved the hospitably of every staff member there , and if you can't already tell they also have a bakery and its a must to get the almond butter croissant , that's the whole reason I fell in love in the first place. I would definitely come again. Don't stop the hard guys , siempre échale...
Read moreThis place is excellent! Super clean, with lots of light, comfy nice chairs, we enjoyed ourselves so much, the service is also exceptional and you will have the chef coming to your table to make sure everything is right. They have a selection of freshly made juices, the pozole was the best I’ve ever had in Houston, GET THE POZOLE, you won’t regret it! Flavorful, not too spicy and not too plain, with the right amount of meat and hominy. I also ordered a Chile relleno which was ok, not the best, and the breakfast that my partner ordered was very fulfilling. Their signature coffee tastes a little too burned for our taste but it wasn’t that bad and they specialize in gourmet desserts and pan dulce Mexicano. We are coming back! We loved this place and are glad we...
Read moreI went in here for the first time today, after a coworker took us croissants from here and I loved them , I went in today to buy some and I was met by the most amazing staff , They guy with a chef hat was so kind he gave me a free pastry and even offered me a coffee on the house , I politely declined due to some medical issues now but he gave me a free pastry 🙌🏽… I did not get a picture of the croissants (they were immediately devoured by my coworkers) but I got a picture of the free pastry with 2bites in 😭 it smelled so good I could not resist 🙌🏽 they offer a traditional Hispanic breakfast and dine in as well , I hope to see more business come across them 🫶🏽 the staff seems so happy and glad...
