Taqueria Jalisco — Restaurant in Paso Robles

Well I have to tell the truth their chili verde knocked me out. I got the Great Big Burrito, I think it's called a big fat Burrito on the menu, and it was big and fat, about the size of my forearm. So big that I just opened it up and started to eat the center and what a wonderful mix I've just a little rice just a little beans lots of Chile Verde some Crema and a dash of lettuce I believe and a little bit of sauce and yum yum yum. Anyway I really liked it and I eat a lot of Chile Verde. It was lean and tender and cook just right and I could add more heat, it was mild, but it told me the story that I'm telling you let's go here for lunch again...

This place seemed to have a little bit of everything. It has drinks, chips, and a lot of different mexican plates.

This place surprised me with the sheer amount of food you get. Its enough for lunch the next day and tasty. Often what these places get wrong is the lack of care for the sides (bland beans, dry rice, not enough tortillas) but this place did not have these problems. The food arrived very quickly. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas. Everything had great flavor. The shrimp was perfect size for fajitas and cooked perfectly.The steak was slightly overcooked but nothing worth complaining about. The only reason I didn't give a fifth star was because it was my first time dining here and got a to go order, and didn't experience the full dining room customer service.
