La Fortaleza — Restaurant in Passaic

I just placed an order for pick up. I got the chicken burrito and a seperate order of fries.it was very bland fries had not a hint of salt. Mind you my burrito didn't come with what was stated on the menu. And when did a burrito and order of fries get so expensive. I paid $21 for nothing. Won't be returning. Prices listed in the menu are not right. Menu price for my burrito says $12 but my receipt says $15 menu price for fries says $3 but yet my receipt says $5 just out right horrible. You guys need new chefs and need to update people on your price gouging. I would have gotten more and BETTER tasting food from McDonald's. I DO NOT RECOMMEND...

First time coming here and was recommended to try this place. Restaurant had great appearance but food wise horrible. DISSAPOINTED! The cemitas bread was stale & the meat was cold with no papalote or frijol. Returned back & ordered something else. When the owner (Leticia) approched us i figured she would apologize but instead approached us in a hostile attitude & demanded us to pay for what we returned & said because it’s the first time she wouldn’t charge us. DO NOT COME HERE YOULL WASTE...

Cute small place with big portion sized food. I'm haven't had the pleasure of eating authentic Mexican food (I'm not Mexican lol)... but I was in the area for work and ended up here. Very festive place with cute Mexican decor and the FOOD WAS AMAZING! I had no idea what a cemita was but I picked it anyway (the Hawaiian one to be exact) let me tell you it was the size of me face. It was so good I want to try all of them. Next time I'll have to bring someone else to help me...
