Alright, folks, let me tell you about John's Seafood in Paulsboro. Now, if you're looking for top-notch seafood, this is the place to be. I've lived by the shore for more than 20 years, and even though this joint is on the other side of the state, it's just as good as any seafood spot you'd find up and down the Jersey coast.

Now, there are a couple of tables if you want to dine in, but truth be told, I wouldn't recommend it. John's Seafood is more of a "grab and go" kind of place. It's the perfect spot to pick up your fresh catch and take it home for a feast.

But here's the hidden gem, my friends – their wings. Yep, you heard me right. They fry up some nice, large chicken wings, and you've never tasted wings this good until you've had John's Seafood wings. I've been getting these wings for over a decade now, taking them home, and adding my own sauce. Especially when I'm throwing a big bash at my place, it's the go-to spot.

And that's not all. John's Seafood is perfect for ordering a full tray of wings, shrimp, and more for your parties. The list of delicious options just goes on and on. My stomach is definitely the way to my heart, and John’s hit the spot. It was my first time there and I had been keen to try it for a while. My family happened to be away, so I figured I would give it a shot.

I entered the store and was immediately greeted by a friendly face. I ordered my meal (fried flounder and steamed broccoli with garlic butter). As I sat there, every customer that came in was greeted by name. I asked the owner if they knew everyone that came in and he said, “No, but we have been here for 30 years and we have a lot of regulars.” I knew right then that this was going to a good spot.

My food came out in about 10 minutes, and let me tell you, it was the best fried flounder and steamed broccoli I’ve ever had in my 45 years.

The whole time I was enjoying my meal, customers were in and out, happily greeted, friendly banter and top notch service.

I’m so glad I made the trip and can’t wait to have that meal again.

Very dissapointed. I Just spent 35 dollars on take out seafood there. I was so excited when i got the nice glossy menu at home..so i wanted to give a try and i drove from afar to try their food....Iam still sitting here wondering how I spent $35. The fried shrimp i can't enjoy it..taste like chlorine or bleach..i can't tolerate the smell. The fish basket, the fish smells and taste bad it is not fresh..and the hushpuppies..i never had hushpuppies that are not well done..crispy outside only..I also got chicken strip basket..but i dont know if any issue with that yet as it is for my husband, he still has not try it...i called the lady said people been eating there and there was silent in the conversation and then she said i could bring it back if I wanted to. But not with such a great customer service attitude..i told her is okay because i live too far... i guess i donated $35 dollar and i did not...
