Excellent BBQ. I showed up the minute they opened on a Saturday. There is no parking nearby. Park and walk in. It is worth it. You will want to show up early. There were already eight people in line. The building is insanely small. Just ten people in the line filled up the dining space. You will want to buy your food to go. There was a super attractive tiny young lady operating the register. I got a huge chuckle watching her tiny self try to reach their menu board to change information. Shorties rock! My food took around 15 minutes to prepare (they were really busy already). It was worth the wait. The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The portions were decent but pricey. The BBQ sauce was the best I've ever eaten. It's thick and cunky instead of runny and watery. I plan to go back in the future. I hope they eventually turn their huge backyard into a parking lot... or perhaps upgrade to a...

Clean dining and really friendly staff. The smoker and the food smelled really delicious. I had the three meat plate with spare ribs, brisket and pulled pork along with "cheesy taters" as well as the beans. I really wanted to give Trigger's four stars. The ribs and brisket were both dry. The pulled pork was just right. However, maybe it was my taste buds, I just couldn't taste any of the smoke. The portions were slightly on the generous side compared to other BBQ places I've been lately but I don't feel that makes up for higher prices I've seen. Then again prices for most stuff is higher these days. I will say the staff said the coleslaw didn't make the cut that day so they didn't serve the coleslaw and I thought that says something for...

Went to Triggers BBQ with a friend. I got the 2 meat with brisket and pulled pork. Friend gave me one of his ribs. Also got the cheesy potatoes and the coleslaw. I thought all the meats were very good. Potatoes were good and the coleslaw was just ok to me. My friend really liked their beans. Their BBQ sauce I though was average-ish. The meats could have been warmer. All were just lukewarm when served. I will rank in order. Brisket, then pulled pork followed by the ribs and the ribs were very good. They have RC cola on tap and a special dessert to go with it. Gotta trust a fellow American on that one he said. lol Not a very big place maybe 20 seats and they have interesting hours of operation. All in all I...

Best place for BBQ in Pawhuska! The outside is misleading. Great atmosphere and food! We walked in about an hour to close. The meat was running low, as can happen with BBQ, but the owner was happy to pull a brisket for us so we could try it. This was some of the best brisket I've had. Only beat by my dad's. I also got the chicken and it was juicy and smoky. The sauce is different than any I've had but delicious. Same with the Okie Beans, different but delicious. As usual the cheesy potatoes are a hit. Top that meal with a sweet tea and it was a perfect end to our day in Pawhuska!

So visiting the pioneer woman we didn't have time to wait to eat at her restaurant. So we looked at the BBQ in the area and went off a 4.2 overall rating. I don't agree. I have traveled all over and tried a lot of BBQ. This place I will not return. The pulled pork I got was cold. The sauce was from a gallon container at the counter. The cawlslaw was dry and need more flavor. The cheese potato was good. The beans are good. The atmosphere is neat and a lot to look at but I won't be back and next time I will wait for the restaurant.
