I’m very dissatisfied disappointed with the managers and cooks at dennys Penitas I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and keep going back just be disappointed really am so proud to see our city grow and see Dennys here because it’s known for good comfort food but their food is just disgusting part of your food is ok while the rest of your order is just right down disgusting Mac and cheese was gross the brisket was harder than rocks called and went to see to get my money back managers full of excuses giving me every excuse in the book other than just owning up to the disgusting food they wanted to shove down my throat saying they get their food brought in and they heat it up and give us what is brought from who knows where stars is over rating them they are non professionals and not accepting any responsibility for the food actually just thinking if all they have to do is heating it up I can’t even find any reason for them to give me brisket rocks and with no hesitation took my almost $40 for two people to eat dinner makes me feel that they should at least make it right without making up excuses when it’s clear it’s their lack of care and concern for the quality of their food I am so disappointed with them and this is the third time but this time they just crossed the line I hope to see new managers from the main manager to the shift manager walking around arrogantly and not holding themselves responsible for their staff and the food they are serving to their customers Penitas should be ashamed for having substandard Dennys when there are so many Dennys franchises out there that serve delicious food you can tell the difference in management and staff cooks we intend to call corporate and report this food quality and service and management’s inability to refund us our money back in a reasonable time making up lies about online orders and payment to them lies I paid at the Dennys they are clueless also the Dennys drive thru is a waste they cannot hear you and they haven’t taken care of the problem just horrible horrible place if anyone has been disappointed please call corporate off and complain maybe at least they can find capable managers and cooks who care and hold their food in the...
Read moreI hate what this franchise has become. It’s a “pop it in the microwave” type. The microwaves that they use all the food came with issues.
All the food had to be sent back because it was cold. I heard the guy “cooking” in the back (I’m not going to call him a chef, because he’s not a chef) Tell the waitress. “Just pop it back in to the microwave for another minute or two”
I had ordered a stake and mashed potatoes, and the gravy seemed like a they’ve been on it for days. The gelatinous of the gravy was already set. Even when it was boiling. You could still see the top layer be rubber. The rice was cold to the touch, yet the steak and mashed potatoes were boiling Hot.
The soda was flat.
The desert was still ice cold, I bit into it and had my tooth experience a lot of pain. I told the staff and they said the microwave has not been working correctly.
