Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Pea Ridge

We came there 6:18-22; around 8:30pm; we made our order online & waited 45 minutes for food; I pressed the red button to make sure our online order was received; because in the past; we have sat there for over 30 minutes & the order never was received; despite the screen saying food was on its way. So this time she told me they were busy; she could see my order; they were backed up with orders; so after waiting almost 1 hour; she said they were short staffed & 4 people called in; I did not get all my food on my order; pressed the button let her know what was missing; 1 person walked out to ask me what was missing; not even 5 minutes later another person walks out asks the same thing; I give her my receipt this time; waited another 30mins on food I paid for; this is fast food; never in my life; should anyone wait that long to get their food they have paid for; I even gave the 2nd girl a $5 tip to hurry & get the missing food; I was starving!!! The girl walks by my car 10 minutes before I left & tells me they are working on it; I left after being there for over 1 hour; theres absolutely no reason for this type of service & this is not the 1st time this has happened to us; it is the 3rd time, waiting 1hour+ for our food;; I cannot recommend this location; service here has always been atrocious. Ordered some floats with my order, a Big Red float, a Cherry Coke float and a Ocean Water float. They forgot to put one of them on my order so had to do another order just for that, okay fine. Big Red float and Cherry Coke float were fine but when they brought me the Ocean Water float it wasn't it was an ocean water SLUSH float I said this isn't what I ordered she said it was I said that I never said slush and had to explain to her the difference between an ocean water float and an ocean water slush float. Then she goes backs and gets it fixed when she brings out the correct float she said that the manager said they don't NORMALLY do that because it gets FIZZY/FOAMY. I'm like excuse me that is what ALL soda floats do. Example cherry coke float- ice cream, flavoring and coke. Ocean water float- ice cream, flavoring and soda. So tell me again how you don't NORMALLY do it because the cherry coke float wasn't an issue so neither should be the ocean water float they both get fizzy/foamy it isn't any more than a root beer and root beer is the foamiest of all and its a classic, never heard of them or anyone objecting to make one of...

It's Sonic, same here as anywhere else in the U.S. Good place to kill that hunger or thirst, or both when you don't have time for a walk in and sit down meal.

Sonic is still a good place to get a cool drink or something to eat, usually. I was there this morning between 10 & 11 AM, before the noon rush hour. Was just one other customer there that I could see from where I parked. That customer was served and they left. A little while later, one vehicle passed through the drive through.

I had pushed the button to order and then I waited...and waited...waited...still waiting...getting tired of waiting, but still waiting. Finally I had waited enough, I drove around to the other side but I had been the only customer there.

When I went by the drive through window, a red haired girl was standing there playing with her __ _ phone!

Will I go back to Sonic? Yeah, I'm sure I will, someday, but I imagine I might eat a lot of Big Macs between now and then.
