Best Sandwich Company — Restaurant in Peabody

Held off writing this review because we wanted to try every sandwich on the menu. What a great experience. These guys (the two owners) are hands on. A rarity these days. And it shows from the quality and preparation of the ingredients to the making of the sandwiches. The sandwiches are not only a cut above, they're exceptional. We just finished the steak bomb. The meat was flavorful, tender and juicy, the mushrooms, onions, peppers cut large enough so that they retained their texture and moistness. The rolls they use are crusty on the outside but soft inside. Not your run of the mill sub roll. Chicken cutlets are the real deal, hand cut and breaded, and not overcooked or dry. Meatballs are soft and tasty, like Nonna used to make. Their sauce is terrific too. We've enjoyed every sandwich we tried. Haven't had the pizza yet but it's on our agenda. The husband and I grabbed a pizza and a chicken parm sub to split last night from Best Sandwich Company at 134 Newbury St, Rt 1 South right after the Sunoco Station

The crust of the pizza was cooked to perfection and the thickness of the crust is not thin but not super thick either. Just right in the middle. On top of that is some incredible tomato sauce. It was so wonderfully flavorful and just the perfect amount of cheese. We really enjoyed it and it will most likely be our go to for pizza now. The chicken parm sub was very enjoyable.

The chicken parm sub was so good, the chicken was of good quality and cooked just right and topped with just the right amount of sauce and we loved the roll it was on.

I’d give NO STARS IF I COULD Arrived 10 minutes early for a pickup was ignored for almost 10-15 minutes the. Was told 5 minutes 15 minutes after that again was told 5 min another 10 minutes go by tells me finally ready and then realizes he only made half the order original pickup time was 12:25 got the order at 1:15pm I’m a 3rd party driver GrubHub DoorDash Uber eats etc and I wasted almost an hour for a salad and a sub made me wait almost the entire lunch hour for and order that should’ve taken 10 minutes took an hour so I lost about 6 delivery’s had to pass on them because I was told 5 min 5 min I would’ve left if I had known I was gonna be here an hour and I’m the one penalized by the customer for there lunch being a hour late avoid picking up here...
