Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Pearland

Just left this location, and honestly this was the worst service I’ve ever received at any Shipley’s location in my 24 years of being alive. The menu is upside down and illegible, and has been that way for last last couple of weeks. The clerk was hanging out of the window with no mask (strike 1), but gladly assisted the two cars in front of us. When we pulled up, he immediately began to look frustrated after giving what seemed to be good service to everyone else. When we began to order he was rushing us as we tried to give him our order and figure out what they had available. My SO turned to me to ask me which kind of kolache I wanted, and the guy started tapping very loudly. When my significant other turned to confirm what I wanted the second time (only a few seconds) , the clerk just shut the window and walked away. We waited briefly in disbelief to see if he was standing nearby only to realize we were looking at an empty space, so we just drove off and went to a different location. Do not go here if you are expecting your questions to be answered patiently and don’t go here if you are hoping for good service. Hands down the WORSE Shipleys EVER! I loathe this specific location. Just as other comments state, this location has THE RUDEST workers EVER! They lie about prices and their attitudes suck! The drive thru menu is upside down and backwards and so you have to either know what you want or ask them and they act as if it’s a burden to go through what they have. And have the NERVE to want a tip?!?! And what happened to the recipe??? The glazed donuts use to have alot more glaze all over. Now they look like plain unglazed donuts. And today they tasted weird. I came back to this location out of being too tired to go to another location. I’d rather go to another location or go without than to spend my money in a place with a rude staff and horrible donuts as this one! And I assume the kolaches were ok bc I didn’t hear any complaints...

I love this shipley’s for various reasons! Obviously, one big kicker in the ol’ five star department is the taste. Mmmmmm I love the glazed donuts and the Kolaches are incredible. We went her in national donut day, a tradition our family has always celebrated, and asked if all 4 of us could get a glazed donut for free. The woman at the counter said no, we could only get one. Hehe, this was almost going to be a 3 star review but the lady played around with us. When we got back home to open up all the donuts, not only were our original items on there, but also four glazed donuts. I love the service , I love the food, I love it all!...
