Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Pelham

Been coming here for over 4 years. Just had gone down hill. Always pretty good food. The ladies in there are very inexperienced, and quite rude. I called to place a to go order twice. The first time I called was on hold for 5 minutes then hung up called again. Again they put me on hold. I had a big order so was trying to call ahead! So I stayed on hold until I walked in the door figuring they might have just been busy but when I walked in there was only a few eating and no line. I was pretty upset. Then when I got to the register I asked the lady and explained to her what happened and she just said yeah I don't know what happened and just kind of staired at me. Lol. Then I got my stuff and left! Again food is good just most zaxbys I go to everyone is so nice and polite and makes you feel like it isn't a fast food. I come here all the time. Service is amazing, food is great. I love going here and they are only a couple minutes away. I also always order the wings and things meal and the wings cause would be hot honey mustard (my favorite) I order this and get what I want and love it. But today on 10-24-24 for some reason I ordered this meal, the guy at the window asked me if my order was right but left out the chicken bacon ranch fries I drifted to order thst day because I was starving and I said yes but remind him of those. gave me the food and I never check because as I said NO PROBLEMS ever but I open it and my wings aren’t even sauced. I drove up at 7:55 and they said they were short staffed so they were closing at 8, but I could have my order taken. I get to the speaker 2 minds later and they tell me “we just took our last order for the evening”. I work in a fast food restaurant and I completely understand short staffing.One thing I didn’t understand is the 5 employees inside the store. With the dining room closed already and online orders were turned off as well. You’re telling me 5 people isn’t enough to take orders, cash them out, make customer drinks and the food. FIVE PEOPLE.
