Shogun Wok — Restaurant in Pemberton Township

Ok I will say first and foremost this place is CLEAN and very nice inside. Theres some reviews about missing things in the order but I got everything I ordered no problem. The only downside is that they are pick up only but we live 2 minutes away so it was no big deal. The service was great and food was hot and tasty… very flavorful. Whoever is back there keep it up! We moved here about 2 years ago and have been searching and trying all the spots in town and being disappointed. This food blows every other place out the water. This is hands down the best place in town. They have hibachi and sushi also. They also have hibachi combos which is something ive never had before and it was amazing. The dumplings appeared to be handmade or at least they taste like it and I filled up on them before eating my main meal. The meals were packaged with care not leaking or slapped in the container. Ordered here a few times and they always forget one or multiple things. This last time they forgot the donuts they read back to me twice, and said they didn't charge for them after I called them when getting the order delivered, but said I could now buy them. I'm good.

3 times too many to keep forgetting things even though they verified the order and then trying to get me to buy them, either to begin with or again.

Will never go here again.

In response to the managers comment

I have ordered through doordash, directly from the restaurant and I have picked up as you are up the road from my house. So even the system isn't correct. Also, whether or not I was charged is irrelevant.

I ordered them and I expect the full order when it arrives. If it was the first time I wouldn't have really cared because mistakes happen, but when it becomes a routine it's just annoying.

The guy who took the order doesn't need to be disciplined...

Let's start with NO WHERE online or on the menu does it say if you use your debit or credit card you are NOT eligible for their coupons if you spend a certain amount... let's also talk about OVER charging MY CARD and trying to say there is NO way to refund the OVER CHARGE. I have worked as a counter person, the card machine ONLY charges the amount YOU put in. AND YOU CAN ADD A "TIP" AFTER THE SLIP HAS BEEN PRINTED... Let's talk about how they tried to say it was MY bank that over charged me. Lies upon, lies from this place. Good thing I checked my card statement. Food was nasty as well, only reason I stopped there was bc I wanted sushi and even that was disgusting and NOT fresh. This place doesn't even deserve A 1 star much less 4 stars that it has. Buyer beware...
