Finger Lickin was always my "go-to" spot for authentic Jamaican patties in Pembroke Pines. However, my experience this evening (Christmas Eve) has made me a customer for life! So, I popped in to pick up a fresh baked hardough bread because no Jamaican Christmas breakfast is complete without that. Well I get there and joined the long line only to see that there were no loaves out. Before I could ask, the lady behind me asked the young gentleman coming from the kitchen if there were loaves in the back that were ready because she had called sometime before coming and was told that they would be ready in 20 mins. After disappearing in the back for a few minutes, the young man returned to tell us that they would now be ready in 2 hours. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. He asked if we could come back but we all expressed that we were unable to and was just a little upset about the miscommunication regarding the time. Much to my surprise ( and I'm sure the others in line as well), he offered to deliver the bread to our homes. We were so taken aback by the offer and thought that he must be joking. He wasn't. I gave him my home address and phone number and before I was done with dinner this evening, he dropped off the warm, soft, fresh bread! He was so gracious and made it seem like nothing but sometimes it does take little things in life like this to restore one's faith in humanity. Kudos to J.P. for going above and beyond this evening to ensure your customers'...
Read moreBest patties in town! 🤤🤩 This is a great local family business that serves delicious Jamaican food and a variety of freshly made, delicious baked goods. Owner, Lisa, is a lovely person. However, the staff is made up of very young persons who often lack speed and customer service skills. (The customer service SUCKS.... some of those kids are so rude. But... finding polite employees is difficult. In the end, I would rather have good food than service but ideally there would be both.) The restaurant itself is lovely, modern and spacious with plenty of room for larger groups. The place is kept very clean. The serve meat, chicken, ackee, spinach, and callalloo patties and loaves as well as traditional fare like Jerk chicken/pork, curry goat/chicken, and oxtail. Their food is very consistent. They also make seasonal items like Easter bun and the traditional “black” fruit cake at Christmas. They make juices (the milky carrot juice) and carry Caribbean drinks D&G soda and Ting. They offer catering services. I have ordered cocktail patties for parties many times. Their patty crust is delicious and flaky. People always ask where they are from. Just be prepared that your order will take time. The food is good - which is why they are in business - but it is NOT fast food, lol. If you are going for the first time, don’t be...

Sitting in the parking lot, can't move. Can't stop eating. Cabbage got me feeling like Grandma house. In my 1st review of this establishment, I said, "I don't give out 5 stars easily, but I'll be back to edit my review of 4 stars for them if everything is consistent." At this point, not giving them 5 stars is blasphemous. So I jumped on my other profile so it wouldn't be missed in just a simple review edit. I wish I could take my Gma some of this cabbage. Whoever made that is going to heaven. 🙏🏽
2 spicy beef patties, cabbage and carrots, rice and peas. I'm so full and barely ate much of it. I'll eat this plate 2 more times before it's gone. Spent $11.
Great service. Great staff. Great prices. Great food. The only thing I didn't give them all 5s on is "atmosphere."" I have 4 stars, and that's more on me than them because I always order to go. So I can't honestly rate the atmosphere. But I can give them 4 stars because I do ait outside and eat a little before I pull off. And there's never been one issue.
Definitely a hidden gem in South Florida. I'm mad they don't have more notoriety because they deserve it. And I'm not satisfied with average service like most consumers. They do their job. And reminded...
