Because google automatically gives you the 1st star that’s a given. I had the most terrible experience at this location. Every time I do the boho chic style I have been helped by the store manager but this one time , the store owner wasn’t available. The store manager during the time of my purchase wasn’t available and decided to ask one of the employees to assist me with my needs . When I got to the store I specifically asked to speak with the store manager because she helped me every time and knows what exactly what I need. I don’t usually purchase hair and always like to ask questions , by asking questions it helps me avoid a bad purchase. My last encounter the employee provided me a human bulk hair and the brand was not good quality. I only had the bulk hair in my hair less than 2 weeks and it was constantly knotting up . Less than a week of me purchasing the hair I went back to the store where I purchased the hair and showed the employee pictures of how the quality of the hair wasn’t great. The next day I went to speak with the store manager and I pulled her to the side and explained that the hair I purchased wasn’t the same quality that I purchase in the past . Store manager , asked me do I know the one I purchased before. I proceeded to show her the pictures from my stylist of the hair and tell her that I had to have my stylist fix the hair and it hasn’t even been 2 weeks . I will upload the pictures of how there was piles of knots on my hair . After this I told the store manager that I’ve been getting this hair style for a while and every time the brand she recommended for me to buy , at this time wasn’t the same . The store owner at the time looked at me puzzled and asked me what do I want her do , it was a very nonchalant response. At the very time i left the store and then called back in yet another calm state and said you know I’m just trying to say that It’s not fair that I brought hair and it hasn’t been a month and it’s not holding up to part . The store owner responded from the call with “ I cant do anything about this but give you half off on the hair , and says but it will only be guaranteed this week . Meaning if I don’t come back in a week then I can’t get half off . My response to the store owner was like can I come in the following week when I am able to make the purchase and she said no . If you are honoring that you will give a discount and won’t to help this customer I really don’t feel a time stamp should be place on it . This is a location that I am constantly purchasing hair products from . Me personally, I would have said mamm I hear your concerns and would like to see how I can help you, I can reassure a brand that the quality is better and assure that the next purchase can be either discounted or credited . I would have taking the individual information and honored this . This is a way of showing the customer that yes we care and it’s not only about getting your money . She didn’t care , the owner just kept saying If you can’t come back in this time frame then it’s not going to be discounted anymore. I am not saying a discount or anything should be done a year later but work with the person, see what works best for the both of you . I am big on quality as I am a quality supervisor and the products that we provide to our customers I take the liberty to ensure that it’s in a compliance and meets the standards. She walked around the store with me showing me the products I needed and even helped me save money here and there by offering similar or better products that were on sale. It only save me a few bucks but a few bucks is a few bucks. In this type of business, you typically encounter rude staff. But seeing her smiling face made me less intimidated to ask for help. I was also inquiring about her hair because I was looking for a similar type hair so she took down her ponytail to show me the length. I feel she went above and beyond and she’s the reason I will return again and again. Now on a more sour note, ONE THING I CANNOT STAND IS an employee that follows you around the store. I am a 51 year old woman and I have shopped here numerous times and I don’t steal…EVER. There is a woman (older white woman) who seemed to be over my shoulder everywhere I turned. When I went to check out, she literally stood there and watched my interaction with Christian. Here is what I have to say about overzealous people like this…when you own a store, or manage a store and especially in a specific type of neighborhood, the last thing you want to do is treat everyone as if they are shoplifters. The idea is to treat everyone with kindness and respect until they show you that they mean you or your business harm. I am a paying customer and I’ve been here more than once to patronize this business. I suggest you get real security or figure out a better way because NO ONE WANTS TO FEEL LIKE A CRIMINAL JUST SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY WALKED INTO YOUR BUSINESS!!! Respect is KEY!
