We stopped by Shawarma Shack after returning from a week-long vacation in London, just looking for a good meal. What we found was not only incredible food but also an unforgettable act of kindness.

Our car broke down in the sweltering Florida heat, and we had six people with us. The owner and his son, Yousuf, welcomed us with open arms, giving us shelter for over four hours. Their generosity didn’t stop there—he even drove my wife and me to Miami International Airport to pick up a rental car while the rest of our family stayed safely and comfortably at the restaurant.

What’s even more remarkable is the trust we were able to place in them. We left our car keys with the owner so the roadside assistance team could pick it up the car next morning. In a situation that could have been incredibly stressful, they made us feel like family.
