China House — Restaurant in Miramar

I ordered from China House located, 10942 Pembroke Road, Miramar, FL 33025, for the first time. Got home and ate the 2 egg rolls, then ate ONE spare rib and it was as tough as leather. I bit into another and it was worse than the first… so I tasted the General Tso’s Chicken and the chicken was somewhat fatty, and some tough. I called them up and said the chicken and ribs were very tough—so much that I couldn’t even rip the spare rib apart. The guy (3rd party service) asked if I could drive it back, and I did. Was greeted by the owner or manager, and she took the food out of the bag and asked where the egg rolls. I told her that I ate them and she can charge me for them. She proceeded to inspect the food and said, “Nothing looks wrong with it.” I said, “Pick it up and eat it and you will see how tough they are. She said she’s been selling General Tso’s all night and no one else has complained. Then she said, “You ate ONE spare rib and I have to charge you for it (it was like $2.35) I said, “How the hell would I know it’s bad if I hadn’t tried it?” I said what I find incredible is that you are more concerned about what you want to charge me than making a customer happy.” Get this—she said she is not there to make customers happy. I was just done with her and said, “Just refund what I didn’t eat.” Told her I will write a review as well as complain to the Better Business Bureau. She said, “Go ahead.” I would NEVER EVER order anything from there EVER again! What this country is going through and people are trying not to spend money—you would think an establishment would handle this situation much better...

This is my first time going to this establishment and was treating extremely rudely by the cashier lady. I was inquiring about prices because I've never been here before . I wanted to order some wings and fries just to try and the lady said $18.00. I was in shocked it cost that much so I was asking about the prices and the lady was yelling at me while telling me the prices for wings/fries combo and just wings. So I asked how much is fries she said $8.00 and again I'm in shock because I've never been anywhere where French fries was $8.00. I said give me the wings because I can't pay 8.00 for fries and she insinuated that I was cheap. So she's go back and forth with me because I found offense what she's saying to me so I tell her she's rude and I'm going to leave a bad review. The lady literally says to me you get no food and voids my order on the register. I asked why would you void my order and she said because you want food for cheap price and you write bad review. The entire time I'm there this lady gave me bad attitude. While I was writing this review I looked at other reviews and she has a long list of people saying the same thing I said. They served us rotten shrimps in our house fried rice! We had an incident several months ago with their crunchy fried rice but this was bad. The old shrimps made us vomit. When we went to talk to the lady, she walk away to show me the raw shrimp to show that it was rotten. We insist on having her smell and taste. She smelled it and said it’s OK. However, she DID NOT taste the rotten shrimp. She said no body else complained about the shrimp, yet it was an invalid response. She then raised her voice at us. After demanding my money back, she double charge us saying I was talking too much. What a customer service?!?! I notified BBB about this incident. I will continue to post let people know that this establishment is unhealthy. Please read their previous inspections…Which we should have done...
