Moonlight Pizza is an absolute gem in Pennsylvania and a true testament to what a neighborhood pizzeria should be. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. The rustic charm of the interior, combined with the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizza, immediately sets the tone for a memorable dining experience.
What truly sets Moonlight Pizza apart, though, is the exceptional service. Nicole and Anthony are the heart and soul of this establishment, and their genuine warmth and friendliness elevate the experience to another level. It’s not often you walk into a restaurant and feel as though you’ve reunited with old friends, but Nicole and Anthony have a knack for making every guest feel special. They greeted us with radiant smiles, took the time to explain the menu, and checked in frequently to ensure that everything was to our liking. Their dedication to creating a welcoming environment is evident in every interaction, and it’s clear they are deeply passionate about what they do.
Now, let’s talk about the food—because wow! Moonlight Pizza delivers on every level. Their signature pizzas are a work of art. We ordered the Margherita and the Meat Lovers, and both were nothing short of spectacular. The crust was the perfect balance of crispy and chewy, with just the right amount of char from the oven. The toppings were fresh and vibrant, bursting with flavor in every bite. The Margherita pizza had a beautifully simple yet rich taste, with its fresh mozzarella, tangy tomato sauce, and aromatic basil. Meanwhile, the Meat Lovers was a carnivore’s dream, loaded with perfectly seasoned meats that complemented each other without overwhelming the dish.
In addition to the pizzas, we sampled their house salad. The salad was crisp and refreshing, topped with a house-made dressing that tied everything together seamlessly.
The atmosphere at Moonlight Pizza is another aspect worth mentioning. Whether you’re dining in with family, catching up with friends, or even enjoying a quiet meal on your own, the ambiance suits any occasion. The lighting is cozy, and the decor has a timeless charm that makes you want to linger a little longer.
What truly stood out to us was the personal touch that Nicole and Anthony bring to Moonlight Pizza. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s a community hub, a place where memories are made. They’ve created an environment that encourages connection, laughter, and joy, all while serving some of the best pizza in Pennsylvania.
In a world where dining experiences can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, Moonlight Pizza reminds you of the beauty of slowing down and savoring not just the food but the experience as a whole. It’s the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left.
We can’t wait to return to Moonlight Pizza and continue exploring their menu. Whether you’re a pizza enthusiast or just someone who appreciates fantastic food served with a smile, this place is an absolute must-visit. Thank you, Nicole and Anthony, for your incredible hospitality and for creating such a wonderful space for...
Read moreI have had pizza and salad from there several times. It was very good. So good that I was actually craving the pizza and a Harvest salad today. So I get through after 29 phone calls (which is ridiculous in itself because honestly who runs a business like that in 2024? But it is what it is, not the point here.) Now, the seasonal salad is a peach salad - and I can't get the Harvest salad. Bummer. So, I switch to the Arugula salad because I love love love goat cheese and walnuts and raisins and vinaigrette on my salads. However, I hate arugula. So I ask her to just substitute the arugula for the mixed greens (which if I had the option, would have preferred romaine but that's not an option.) Simple request right? The woman then asks "Well, have you had the arugula before?" And I respond "Yes, but I really don't like arugula. It just doesn't agree with me". The woman then had the audacity to say "Well, sorry hun, I am just not going to be able to make it that way. We've tried it before with the mixed greens and it just doesn't taste right."
29 phone calls to get through You called me "hun" I am paying for a salad the way I would like and you tell me no based on your own taste preferences and not your paying customers taste preferences?
Yeah, that's a no from me - never going to return again. It's just...

I feel like the past few years have been wasted eating sub par pizza. Don't pick up the phone thinking your getting a late night sober you up grease pie. You will however be starting an addiction to great pizza. Forget what you know about the traditional pizza game, there's no anchovies, Hawaiian or personal pan. You will get hand crafted, made with love, flavor explosion in your mouth artisan pizza. Each slice reminds you that pizza can be more then mozzarella and tomato paste, I recommend the bacon and caramelized onion, the white and the house veggie white. You'll thank me later. Oh, and there's more! The salads are freaking awesome, the right amount of mixed greens, fruits and nuts with the perfect amount of dressing. We get the Harvest and its become a family favorite. The icing on the cake is homemade cannoli, I haven't taken that plunge yet but that day is coming soon! Call early and get your pick up time locked in as they sell quick. Just stay away from 6:15 or we will have a problem....lol! Give this small local business a try and you won't be...
