Pendleton, Oregon location

If I could give 5 NEGATIVE STARS I would. What an awful experience my husband and I just had! We ordered two 7 inch pizzas and then proceeded to WAIT and WAIT and WAIT...

Apparently they don't process people's orders as they come in because I watched table after table of people who came in AFTER US getting food before us.

Then we asked where our pizzas were. Twice.

The manager blamed being "under staffed" for the issue, but that was HARD TO BELIEVE AS FOOD ARRIVED TO OTHER TABLES who came in after us. But I think the real reason was because they forgot to put our order into the kitchen as it seems like we got our pizzas about 10 minutes after we LAST asked about them.

The manager finally brought the pizzas out, gave us our money back, but then she yelled - so that everyone in the restaurant could hear - that the reason for our late pizzas was the "understaffing" situation - apparently to shame us. She also said, "You act like this is all about you". Well, yes, yes it is. I'm the customer. When you treat customers this way, you shouldn't be able to keep your job.

I was so furious, I didn't even want to eat the pizza there. So we boxed it and left. Then I realized they didn't put mushrooms or garlic on my pizza, as they were supposed to. Unbelievable.

Horrible experience, horrible manager. 5...

Have frequented Abby's of late a few times on visits to Pendleton. The pizza has always been tasty. Unfortunately on this visit a couple young men made the choice to seat themselves next to the booth I was seated in despite the fact the restaurant was nearly empty. They proceeded to have a conversation laced with f-bombs and worse. I called them on it and received a cocky reply basically responding with a what are you going to do about it attitude. I requested management ask they leave or be moved however the individual in charge was hesitant to take those actions while the two young men attempted to then make me out to be the bad guy. She returned a bit later and asked the two men to tone it down. They already had and I did advise her as such. A woman seated a few booths down thanked me as she departed. Evidently she concurred with my assessment of the actions of these two...I did notice the person in charge did also speak with her. Sadly it is other customers such as these two which can spoil a meal. I would have appreciated it if Abby's staff had taken a stronger position on the matter. If you dine in Pendleton and observe either of the two pickups in a photo I am posting beware, you may encounter the level of behavior I did while at Abby's today. Two years ago I rated this place with 5 stars, the employess in that moment where awesome, now me and my family had a situation in the same restaurant that was very embarrassing for us, after being waiting for 55 minutes for the pizza we ordered I asked one of the employees how long was going to take in a good way, so he went to ask but looks like his supervisor (lady taking the orders in front) named Melissa got angry with us about being complaining so she came close to the table and in front of everyone she started asking on a very loud disrespectful way that what we want and asked us if we saw that she was very busy, I talked to her on a very calmed way but she kept the bad attitude with us, suddenly she offered some dessert to satisfy us but that never happened, we felt so bad for the other employees since almost all night she was yelling at them to hurry, now our favorite restaurant became a unexpected nightmare, guess we have to do our weekend trips somewhere else, if any management see this I really recommend to take some action and make sure this won't happen again to anyone else, thanks to the other awesome employees that have being great with us, we really appreciate them, we are sorry for leaving this rating and...

From looking at everyone's reviews and pictures. My experience was not even close to anyone's review. My pizza looked half dressed and it was dry. I never had a pizza before that made me wish I never ordered it. I wouldn't feed it to a stray dog. I called about it and they said there's nothing they can do since I use a 3rd party app to ordered it. I'm not from around here so I didn't know they delivered or not. It was bad and very subpar. And when i said it was so dry that the only dipping sauce it should be used for it would be water. After I throughly inspected. You can tell it was a old pizza that was been made and didn't get sell until someone ordered it. That being said if I ever in this city for business, I will stay clear from this place.

Abby’s Legendary Pizza is … legendary! Stopped on our way home from Utah; and we’re so glad we did! We’re gonna make this a stop anytime we come back on our Oregon trip! The food and service was soo good! We got in and sat down; and our waitress mentioned the kid’combo. A personal pizza (5”) and a drink. That was perfect! My suggestion is that they put that on the menu, as we couldn’t see it was listed. The gluten free girlfriend ordered a salad that was full of dark green lettuce. Something you wouldn’t normally in a pizza joint. She also got a gluten free pizza that smelled amazing, looked amazing, and tasted amazing. I got the deep dish; and loved it! (Both pictured here.) This will definitely be a stop for us! So good!
