California prices at Pennsylvania quality: Staff here are incredible, the shop is well set up and feels cozy too. Unfortunately, the drinks and food are sub par with high prices to boot. I threw my scone out after one bite. It was all sugar, salt, and poorly baked flour; CostCo bulk scones are better and those aren’t great.
As for drinks, I can make significantly better at home with real spices and real cream instead of canned whip and the flavored syrups most PA cafés are peddling for $10.
I have had some incredible food and drinks in PA, I know it’s possible. If shops are going to charge California prices, locals have the right to ask for quality food. Settling for mediocrity only begets further...

The pepperoni roll was good, but the cinnamon roll tasted like it had been frozen for too long, with a noticeable freezer burn flavor. The cranberry muffin was stale and clearly a few days old. After spending $20 for two pastries and a pepperoni roll, I would expect the quality to be significantly better.
