Black Sheep — Restaurant in Penn Township

My friends and family discovered this place about a year ago. Since then we have ben back several times and have even got more friends hooked. Sadly, on August 15, 2024, I went with some friends. We were just about to open the door when we read a sign that we would be charged an additional 3.75% for paying with a credit card. We all turned around and dined at a restaurant that does not punish their customers for paying how they want. We all made calls and texts immediately to our others friends and family about this ridiculous policy and we will never return. Very sad. As a business owner myself, I don't care if someone uses their card for $1.00!!! Credit card fees are part of doing business. If you don't except that, then maybe you shouldn't be in business. A sale is a sale. Don't support businesses that do this. It's wrong, it's a crime, and it tells the customer that they don't want their business. I used to come here all the time, I loved it. After today, I will NEVER come back here. My bun was completely burnt to a crisp. That had to go past the person who cooked it and the server. I'm assuming they dont QC their food as the black bun with burnt crisps apparently was not obvious. The server provided me a new bun which cheese not even melted. The meal i ordered was a chicken parm sandwhich. I was not offered a new sandwhich. When I bit into the chicken, I could barely chew through the chicken. I ended up spitting the chicken out and was unable to finish the meal. I asked for a box because I did not want to cause more issues. My dad advised the server the chicken was unable to be chewed through and is burnt. She just quickly apologized and walked away. There was no offer to order something else. Long time patron. My last two visits will be my last two. A couple weeks ago my daughter and I stopped in. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes on a pretty slow afternoon. Never even visited by a bartender. Saw people arrive 10 minutes later and get served. Got up and left. Tonight I went alone, sat at the bar, was served quickly enough but waited too long for a 2nd visit to order food/takeout. Finally ordered, then sat there for 30 minutes with and empty glass, positive that my (very small and simple) food order was long since ready, no one behind the bar (no one!).
