This was our first time at the Hermitage location, and it was disappointing. I've been to other locations, and the food was better. Pizza Joes has gotten pricey, so the food should always be good. Our pepperoni pizza was a little soggy in the middle. The cinnamon sticks were completely burnt on one side. They should not have been served to anyone. If you order here, I recommend opening your boxes for a quality check before leaving, I wish we did. The store setup is confusing, to say the least. It is combined with a convenient store. When you walk in, there's ready made slices, pepperoni rolls, etc. We gave the name for our order, and the guy, with an attitude, said we needed to go in the back for that. We did and wanted to add pepperoni rolls, and we were told to go to the front of the store for that?? So we went back to that counter, which irritated Mr. Unprofessional even more. He not only didn't like customers but seemed to dislike the Pizza Joes employees too. He made a comment about one of the employees' weight and proceeded to mumble under his breath. Very rude! I ordered a wedgie (that’s what it’s called on their website) and she rudely corrected me saying “you mean wedge??????” Obviously she knew what I meant so I don’t know why she felt the need to “correct” me. Read moreReviewing strictly my one and only experience there. Not the food or place overall. The employee seemed to be very on edge and annoyed and gave attitude for no reason. The biggest reason for the 1 Star however is that my order was somehow miss placed and when I realized it on my way back I called and had a negative experience on the phone (more attitude and annoyance I’d imagine was the same person) and then had to comeback to the same worker giving me attitude while I waited for another 10mins for the rest of the original order!
