Sam's Lounge — Restaurant in Pensacola

This bar has a lot of space inside and has great parking, nice big bars, good music playing and nice rails & felt on the pool tables. The reason I 3 started it is because of how grotesquely full of smoke this place was. I bartended for years, never have I felt so trapped in a cube of cigarette smoke before. This place would HUGELY BENEFIT from a couple of smoke eaters. One for either end of the place. There were only 2 people there when we went in, no way it should have been that smokey. They've gotta at least get some ventilation going during the earlier part of the day or something. Kinda sucks because this spot is close to home, laid back with good drinks n tables so I really would have loved to make this my new lil chill spot but I just could not...

This establishment reminds me of more social days on this planet. Great pool tables, excellent foosball table (tornado) brand was tournament for state and national competitions. But the atmosphere the location and the amenities were just like my father's establishments, in Okaloosa county. So five stars for all but good as door dashers, Uber eats,etc. Have impacted the old days of great bar food. However the pizza was good and perfectly cooked. Sam's is number one, to a pool...

I used to love this place but now the bartender is rude af and didnt want to be bothered with people that were not her usual customers. She tried telling me my card had declined twice when she never even ran it. Proceeded to make a big scene when she finally ran my card it went through without an issue and she didnt even apologize. I will not be returning, got 100 other bars id recommend...
