Update October 23rd 2024: Well I went in today for my credit. Firstly I originally placed my order online and the cook screwed the melt up big time. So you can't order online and get the credit applied to your account. So I wanted them to honor the online price. The employee either could not or just would not. You know this is so stupid. I have had a bad day, im here to redeem my credit from my previous online order that you messed up. And you can't honor an online price? My stress cannot manage this today. When I used to work at Pizza Hut we could essentially on the computer make products into any price we wanted with an open coupon. Either the employee was being a pain or someone somewhere could have rectified this. I'm over trying to deal with this location. Customer service here is lacking. I ordered this time a medium tavern style half double pepperoni half ham and pineapple, and a side of fries. I got home, had a mental breakdown and went to sleep. I dont even want the food at this point. Forget the credit, I'm really upset of you not honoring the online price when I was trying to deal with your prior screw up. Will never return to this location.
Old Review October 10th 2024: I had ordered the chicken bacon parm melt and a order of breadsticks. I requested extra seasoning on the sticks. I get home and realized instead of the melt being more flat it got bunched up. Like each of them had the 2 outer layers of crust but there were 2 inner layers of crust and almost no filling as the crust took up most of the melt. Each half was smaller than a slice of pizza at this point due to this "bunching".
Now onto the breadsticks. Instead of using the breadstick seasoning for some odd reason they used the seasoning that would go on top of the melt. I am unsure of why they chose to do that... they did honor the request for extra seasoning, just used the wrong one. I wanted the breadstick seasoning. The breadsticks were acceptable so I did not make an issue out of it although I was disappointed.
They gave a credit to my account for the melt which I wish would tie to my online account as I usually do not go to this location and it must be used there. What is strange is when the melts first came out, this location sold me the best melt I ever had since release. It is what it is. They did try to rectify it but really I shouldn't need to complain to fix something when I know they knew it all...
Read moreWorst Pizza Hut in Peoria hands down. They almost never accept promotional deals, the customer service is atrocious, and most of the time the pizza is cold or takes an hour to get there. I order pizza at least once a week from here, and it seems like there is always some sort of problem, usually that they are out of anything you might want on your pizza, often even stuffed crust, which is just string cheese rolled into a hand tossed crust. I ordered from here tonight, and because my phone had been shut off they cancelled my order and completely discarded it. When we called, the manager was rude and refused to help us in any way, claiming that they aren't at fault and that it's store policy, then when I asked them to remake my order they started asking me what was on it, because they threw out the ticket, and was going to attempt to charge me full price for the pizza that I had just ordered with a %50 discount. I had to hang up and reorder online, without so much as an old order of breadsticks to compensate for the inconvenience. Keep in mind, the so called "policy" has NEVER been enforced any time I've ordered online. I have NEVER once received a verification call to confirm my order. We are regulars, yet they treated us like an inconvenience and gave us no help at all. I will never be ordering another pizza from here, I'll stick with Marcos. Read moreTo be honest, pizza hut lost me as a customer for life! Everything is automated. You think your calling the store and your not. You get transferred to some foreigner. Then everytime they would transfer me to the store it would just keep ringing, Noone would answer. I ordered 50 bucks worth of pizza at 639pm. It said it would be delivered by 710pm. By 739pm I'm trying to figure out where it is because at this point I placed the order an hour ago. Took me 20 mins to finally speak to some representative after 3 attempts to transfer me to store failed. I talked with representative and they informed me my order was complete which is a lie. I have ring cameras to prove it and never got a confirmation saying my order was on the way. The representative reported the store and requested a refund and also said the store manager would call to discuss the refund process or whatever. Never received a call last night or today from manager. Tried to call corporate and of course it's automated and the only way go complain about the store/experience is to I guess write a review. So disappointed with the experience and process. I'm done with pizza hut for good. BTW I'm 7 months pregnant and was just trying to get dinner for my daughter and myself. Had to leave the house to get something and didn't get to eat until 820pm....
