Perkasie Pizza & Pasta - Catering — Restaurant in Perkasie

Meh. I was never the biggest fan of this place but new management hasn't improved anything. I'm not a frequent visitor as I don't live in the area, but I'm here to visit for a month and figured I'd give it another try because I know the place changed hands and wanted to give them another try - plus I love mac & cheese bites!

A few weeks ago, I ordered a white pizza for delivery. It wasn't too warm, but that's okay - I realize delivery takes time. The pizza quality was probably below average. I reheated in the oven only 10 minutes after receiving and the cheese didn't melt well the second time around. I know it's not their job to make stuff with the intention of it being a leftover or to have it be reheated but I was hoping it would at least melt the cheese a bit and help improve taste, which it didn't.

Today I ordered poppers and mac & cheese bites. Both were overcooked so the breading was very dark and flavorless. Of the 10ish mac and cheese bites, about 6/7 were pretty dry with almost no cheese (Giant sells better tasting ones in my opinion). The poppers also had the dark breading, but I didn't have a huge problem with them besides that breading. The order taker is marked as Axel and not only was he not overly friendly (not rude, but not what I'd expect as customer service), but he mumbled and was unclear. I walked in to pick everything up though and they were pretty quick to notice me and get my order for me.

Overall, I don't think I'll ever go back. There's nothing special about the food here, and the prices are...

Lemme break the ice by starting off by saying that this is not the best pizza in the area, but it is my favorite place to get pizza within walking distance living in Perkasie. The pizza is not the best, but still hits the spot. It satisfies when you need a pizza with a good cheese to sauce ratio and decent flavor. The fries have that batter dipped consistency that is honestly one of my favorite styles of fries. The workers here are definitely young and are just learning what working in the service industry is like, and for that they are humble and honest and it is good for growing themselves. They won't be the most skilled, but they will do their best, and I respect them a lot for that. The atmosphere is like some other local pizza place in any other suburban town I've lived in; comfy, cozy, and enjoyable. Reminds me of an old closed down pizza place in Horsham called Edibles. It's almost like the spirit of that place migrated to here and lives on like a childhood memory of a place I loved. I love it. And I will always be coming here when I just wanna walk to a nearby pizza place and sit down for a slice. Whatever you guys are doing, keep it up. I will recommend this place to anybody...

First of all my delivery was way late ! Second : I ordered mozzarella fries and the fries had such an odd taste. Not to mention the second I opened the container there were burnt chunks of previously fried food mixed into the fries. CLEAN THE FRYER!!!!! again the fries didn’t taste good. Guessing it’s from old fryer oil. Didnt know it was EVEN possible to have fries taste bad. It was actually gross. Oh an there was literally no mozzarella on the fries. Paid extra for that. And for my salad ? Okay... just kinda of annoyed that the container was dirty ... and it wasn’t from my salad. In the inside cover it looked like finger marks with spicy buffalo .... my salad didn’t contain any spicy buffalo sauce sauce .... but the sauce part doesn’t bother me. The saucey finger prints on the inside did. At least make an effort. It’s a shame because fries and salad are something you can’t go wrong on but perkasie pizza and...
