Rams Pint House & Rooftop Lounge — Restaurant in Perkasie

Just like the first time, we weren't impressed. The meals (2 adults, 2 children) took 45mins to get to us. I had the fish and chips. The fish was fried too long and the fries were too salty. The kids had mac n cheese and buttered noodles with parmesian cheese, both of which had undercooked noodles.

However, we were able to replace the buttered noodles with mac n cheese for free since our daughter didn't like how hard the noodles were but liked her brother's mac n cheese. The only problem with the replacement was that the replacement mac n cheese was different. The original was regular yellow mac n cheese while the replacement was a white mac n cheese with some sort of seasoning, which her brother liked but she didn't. So we ended up swapping the kids' mac n cheese too make both happy.

The server, while having a pleasant attitude and sincere smile, seemed either new or not really knowing the job. When asked if they had honey for our hot tea, she didn't know if they had it but thought she could "find a bottle somewhere." She checked on us after we got our food, but we had to get another server to send her to our table so we could switch out our daughter's meal. She never returned to our table for drink refills either. And while the server wasn't coming out to check on her tables, I saw her walking to the bathroom area while using her cellphone a few times.

So, in giving it a second try, we decided The Ram is not a restaurant we'll be returning to since the food is mediocre as is the service. Instead, we'll spend the same amount of money on better food and service at the Cafe...

Checked out The Ram last night with my daughter (daddy / daughter dates are the best). First off, the building oozes potential. It has that “cool restaurant” vibe with all the brick, wood and iron. Kudos on that.

We did reservations, and our table was ready the instant we got there (saw a lot of people coming throughout the night — definitely do reservations).

Wait staff was a wee bit slow, but having spoken to someone in management a couple weeks prior when I called to ask when they were open, I understand that finding and training in both quantity and quality is absolutely a challenge right now! So I would not make this a ding against them under current conditions.

Had appetizers - BBQ wings were excellent, garlic Parmesan were not quite my liking.

Had desserts — chocolate cake and the cheesecake. Both tasty, although I would have enjoyed a bit more moisture (more glaze or ice cream maybe).

Did not do entrees, but looking forward to coming back and trying them.

All in all — my daughter and I really enjoyed it, and will definitely be back. Any negative reviews I would honestly say to measure against the fact that The Ram IS OPENING IN THE MIDST OF A PANDEMIC — kudos to them for delivering a solid performance in the most challenging times for restaurants in the last 50 years.

This place will be an awesome hangout spot for years to come, and I look forward to experiencing the final result post pandemic when this place should really come into its own.

As a local Perkasie business, we are always looking for quality restaurants for our monthly lunch meetings. The Rams Pint House & Rooftop Lounge provided such high quality take-out, in such a fast and efficient manner. We are a staff of 10 and we had a lot of unique requests, side substitutions, extra dressings, etc. and they got everything RIGHT! Not only that, the dishes were high-quality! Everyone was satisfied. They even provided a separate bag for added utensils, dressings, napkins, etc. The staff is overly friendly and accommodating - they treat you like a regular right away! Personally, I got the Sirloin and subbed for Broccolini and Brussel-sprouts because their vegetables are incredibly tasty and well seasoned! For a mid-day meal, it didn't leave me full and lagging, honestly it energized me for the remainder of the work day! The rest of the crew thoroughly enjoyed their meals between, chicken cheese steaks, short ribbed grilled cheese, mushroom gruyere burger, THE FRIES (they have great fries), and more!
