Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Perth Amboy

Terrible service from Papa John's employees. (Perth Amboy location) Everytime I order from this location it's always a problem. I gave them to many chances, Today just put the topping on the cake. Having delivery drivers argue with me. 🤯

Today around 530p I placed an online order for 2 pies. At 6:20p a lady from this location called me. (Supposably the manager) to advise that cops were blocking a road and she was un aware how long the driver will take to get to me.

I asked where exactly was the driver because I can guide them to my house by side streets. She refused to answer and stated "well I can't do nothing" "do you want your order" (1 hour & 20 mins)

Because of this response I told her I do not want cold food she can have her driver turn around and cancel the order.

15 mins later I get a call from the delivery driver arguing with me because he was down the street and I need to not cancel. I do not appreciate aggressiveness from this location's employees. I called the location to advise them and the "manager" seemed to not care and asked again "if I wanted the pizza " . Are you kidding! The Lack of management skills at its finest!!

I will never again...

This is the most garbage and unorganized papa johns that I have ever seen and ordered from. The employees are straight trash. These are people that come from a third world country and have no appreciation what a real job is or how it works. Perth Amboy as a whole is beyond straight trash, and for a franchise like papa johns to choose to open up there is a clown show. The people that live in Perth Amboy are stuck in a place where nothing changes and they’ve accepted the fact that they’re aren’t going nowhere. It’s so sad that no matter what type of business you open in Perth Amboy it will always be trash. The people there just can’t find a way to move forward in life and seek a better and brighter future in a world that has so much opportunity. A few weeks ago, my friends and I ordered a pizza at approximately 8:30PM. For delivery, it would be 1 hour, which is fine. At 10PM, our food had not arrived, but the website said it was out for delivery at 9:30PM. I called the store and spoke with the manager. I asked the manager if he had an estimated time of arrival since I only live 5 minutes away from the store. His exact words of pure professionalism were "nah bro". Never have I thought that a manager would exemplify professionalism as such (please take note of the sarcasm). At 11PM, I got a call from another star professional of this establishment who said verbatim "yo, your pizza's here". I'm gonna go to a different papa John's to order food since clearly, management and it's fine employees have been trained to speak to the public as such. Would I recommend this...
