Stella's Pizza. — Restaurant in Perth Amboy

I remember this place when it was on Amboy avenue / Hall Ave. So my history is well versed with their slices and customer service. I have seen many pizza parlors come and go in this town, but unfortunately this location has been on the decline since the shutdowns. I remember getting deliveries so piping hot we used to wait until the pizza cooled before we could eat it. I have even tried to continue supporting them via the SLICE app but the deliveries are just getting slower and sloppier on very easy orders. I just can't do it anymore with so much better local competition. The nostalgia is officially gone.

I have asked for very simple requests like well done slices and well done wings but continue to get cold or warm food when it arrives approx 1.7 miles away. I ESPECIALLY have a sour taste in my mouth from pre-tipping and still getting my order at the last minute of the day, so I can't call the restaurant back and let them know my food was cold upon arrival.

I waited 4 days to post this because I wanted to let the waning feeling of disappointment subside but SLICE offered me a free pizza and a $5 credit for my inconvenience this morning and peeling that scab off was the straw that broke the camel's back and now you're reading my review. Do yourself a favor and drive down to Smith Street before...

Okay so it's JUNE 25,2017. @ 7:30pm my wife called to place our order for delivery. Instantly with just the greeting of our phone call, answered by one of the workers sound as if they were having a bad day. My wife continues to place our order. Now I could only buy image how annoying it can be that sometimes customers can be very picky with their food. Yes, we were that customer. BUT ....that does not excuse the attitude that was given to my wife. Therefore, we called seconds after placing our order to be canceled. AGAIN .... instantly attitude. Before she could speak, he cuts her off and then hang up the phone. Now me being the man that I am. I stepped in and called multiple times. No answer. Finally tried calling again. A few tries after someone picked up. No before making any false assumptions that the guy who answered the phone was the guy that took our order. I gave a general message to whom ever answered the phone. This is a written message to them including the owner. IF YOU DO NOT LIKE YOUR JOB THE QUIT!!!!! YOU CHOOSE TO WORK THERE. Again IF YOU DO NOT LIKE YOUR JOB AND DO NOT AT LEAST WANT TO GIVE SOME SORT OF COMMETMENT TO YOUR JOB THAT YOU CHOOSE TO WORK AT, THEN QUIT!!!!! Thank you P.S CHEESE STAKES ARE AWSOME.......

Pizza is decent, don’t see anything special about it. I can understand why they even get business because it’s closer to a middleschool or highschool so students are going or grab it after school. There are better pizzeria in town such as Mario’s or Sciortino, or Giovanni. The major complaint is the workers there. They are extremely rude, they don’t really greet and if you ask them a simple question they give so much attitude. The only reason I even stop by here is simply because it is the closes to me but I avoid it due to the worker and customer services they lack. Even responses from them to reviews on here are horrible. Learn to have better customer service and attitude and perhaps you won’t get...
