I'm taking my 5 star review back due to multiple run ins with a specific rude lady, The service at this restaurant is horrendous, there is a lady that everytime me and my husband go to this restaurant she always comes up with something not to serve us, we have never ever had problems here normally we eat here everyday but ever since we keep having trouble with this one lady who thinks because I believe she is the daughter of the owner she can just treat anyone bad, my husband ordered a menu there and called 30 mins before hand he got there and the order was not ready he had to wait and wait and it still was not ready, he had a meeting to go to and could not wait for it any longer, so my husband calls to get a menu and this same rude lady says she will not take his order because he left 2 menus, well senora I am so sorry but that was not his fault, he did what he was supposed to do and it was not ready when he got there and he even waited and waited when he got there, so he is just supposed to miss his meeting to wait over 40 mins for his food, NO ABSOLUTELY NOT, so this lady needs to treat her clients like clients not like pieces of trash like she does, she is so rude and speaks to her clients very rudely, when you have a clients you take care of them this food issue was there fault not my husband's fault and now she wants to act like a child and not take our order that is bad, for you to be a "Owner" you sure do not know how speak and treat your clients, latin grill needs a lesson in manners and really its just thos one specific lady, we are not clients who eat once every year here that's why I am so upset about this because sometimes we eat every single afternoon here that's what is so bad she doesn't even have the courtesy to day I'm sorry for the food not being ready and not the next time we call to make an order tell us so rudely you left your food so I will not take your order, wow I am very shocked, my husband calls to speak with the Real owner and she would not let him speak to her, just because you are a family member that does not make you the owner, I feel bad for this place because it was actually good but when people have this bad of an attitude it makes the food horrible over one person, beware of this lady dont let her ruin your meal like she did ours NUMEROUS TIMES!!!! Read moreI Visit Latín Grill probably twice a year for their delicious lunch “Menu” today the soup was Chupe de Pescado and second dish Cau Cau (which is one of my favorites.) As I got my soup, first thing didn’t look good (missing milk, it’s chupe 🤔). I proceed to taste (do not judge a book by its cover) Well to my surprise was the same as it looked..tasteless it was just water with pieces of fish. Then I get my second dish Cau-Cau, it was brown (it’s supposed to be yellow / ají amarillo) again with NO taste. I asked the waitress to ask the cook - why was the Cau-Cau brown, she smiled and said I don’t know… I said, ok can you asked the cook. She never did and got no answer. Then I see a friend of my ordering a Menu to go, I called her and let her know do not waste your money paying for a tasteless food. She proceeded to tell me the new Owners are not Peruvians, they are from Honduras but they have a cook who is, but apparently he was not there today. Read moreI will never order food from them again! First of all, I live around the block from this restaurant and don’t ever bother walking to them to dine in or order to take out. I have gone on some occasions because I was invited but the servers weren’t the best and the food was tasteless to me. And that’s impossible to happen with Peruvian food. Where I am going with this is that I got sick, I could not cook anything for myself and I needed something in my stomach asap, so I ordered soup thinking “how could anyone possibly mess up on a soup”… I took a couple of sips, it was good… then I noticed a black little thing that just stand out on my broth… 🤢 a freaking bug! WTH?! I vomit after that. Called the restaurant and returned their soup. They still had the audacity to offer me the same soup to replace the one I was upset about.
