Came here for a private event in their party room with about 65 people a few weeks ago. They recently renovated the restaurant and it looks amazing. The service was top notch and the waitresses were so tentative to the guests especially with the kids. My only complaint was the food this time. Usually the chicken francaise is very good here but the chicken we got was very rubbery and did not have a lemon flavor to it. It felt that because this was a large party and got family style plates, the food lacked. The penne with vodka sauce was delicious along with the salad. Very Good Dominican Food .I like the atmosphere & decor. I felt like I was in DR .I had the stewed chicken which was tender and the black rice with black beans .I also took to go a Dominican dessert made from corn and coconut which I think is an arepa.I liked the texture and taste between the corn and coconut flakes. Solanyi helped me by the counter and suggested the corn coconut dessert. We talked about Dominican Republic and how I loved going there to dance and enjoy the beautiful beaches. I was very disappointed with my recent order. While eating, I actually found a rock in my food. This was not only unpleasant but also a safety concern. When I reported the issue, the restaurant issued a partial refund!!!
