Bob Evans — Restaurant in Peters Township

I'm convinced there has been a management change at this location cause the service has been improving. Tonight my waitress was Sara who could have not been nicer. The restaurant is close to home, good service, quick and good quality.

They do need to turn the a/c down a notch though, it's usually cold in here.

Knocked a star off the review after today's visit, we basically left after sitting down and after a long time had No service, no order, no coffee and they weren't that busy either.

Twice now in coming here in the past 2 weeks the service has been horrendous. Last week we walked out after being seated and waited over 10 min, today we stood at the hostess booth for 5 min then seated ourselves. I think of it wasn't for waitresses like Lucy I would stop coming here altogether.

4/2022 No real changes, I'll go here cause I have a lot of gift cards for some reason?

7/31/22 Did was good service was s l o w, but the waitresses fault, when you only have one waitress on duty. This is the worst run Bob...

The service was horrible. I was the only person in line for 20 min and no one came to seat me until 2 caucasion women came in and the manager went to them and asked to assist them with seating. I spoke up since they were BEHIND me. Well they sat me at a table but the other women were served and I was not.

This is 2013 if this Bob Evans or the entire chain does not want African Americans at their resturant all they have to do is say it. The will be a day of comments and then it will be forgotten. The restaurant & it patrons will be happy that there are no African American customers and African American customers will know that our "green" money is not wanted there and we can go someplace that wants our money.

BTW, I was neatly, professionally dressed, handicapped with a cane & in pain. I had an appt at a Pain Specialist across the street and had 30 min to spare and just wanted a cup of coffee and a desert.

Our waitress Ali was very sweet. She took our orders and only made one mistake which was not putting in one of the orders of the 8 of us. When we told her about it she immediately took care of that and food came out pretty quickly. She did not check back to see if we needed more drinks. We were there from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30P. Our real issue we was about the food prep. Two of the orders came to the table... cold! Two of the orders came just right!! The carrots that were ordered for our 2 year olds were underdone and too hard to eat. Also the chicken on the Cranberry Chicken salad was overdone and could hardly be cut or chewed. We have gone to a lot of Bob Evans Restaurants and have never had an experience like this at the Bob Evans in McMurray Route 19. We went to this particular Bob Evans because it was close to our church . All of the wait staff that we met and the people up front we're very pleasant...
