Kin's Wok Restaurant — Restaurant in Petersburg

I live within view of the restaurant, and was so happy to discover how good it was. I usually call in my order, and walk over to pick it up within 15 mins. The prices are reasonable, and the food in my experience has been great. The steamed dumplings and their sauce are delicious, the hot and sour soup is incredible, and the Dragon Phoenix (General tsao's + shrimp) is unbelievable; loaded with crisp vegetables. Some reviewers have stated their shrimp were mushy, but I've never gotten a bad meal from here; I've found the shrimp firm and steamed/seared well. They also have a pretty large selection, and a ridiculous amount of add ons (also non Asian food, like sandwiches and burgers and wings). While there is no indoor seating, the interior is clean and I've seen quite a bit of remodeling and maintenance in the past. Give it a try,...

The residential front door may strike some as a bit too homely and does feel a bit odd. Like, is there a doorbell? Do I knock first? But, make no mistake about it. This place is dishing out some terrific takeout, served quickly, kindly, and reasonably priced.

I hit the lunch specials frequently due to the convenience. Most of the time I go with the Beef and Broccoli with Lo Mein. I also can't recommend their Fried Chicken Wings enough as they are deep-fried GOLD!

This is also the only place in Petersburg that serves "Spicy Mala" dishes, which I had not even heard of until spotting it on their menu. While the sauce isn't particularly spicy, it still contains tremendous flavor.

Ordered delivery several weeks ago and it showed up, fresh, hot and fast...decided I'd wait until i got it again to write a review. I got it today and its delicious...its the best chinese ive ever had, hands down...this place should be more well known, its just a small place easily overlooked but their food is top notch. You can tell they take pride in what they do. Now i only ordered vegetable fried rice, which was great, lots of vegetables, and crab rangoons, which had such a good balance between sweet and crab.
