Ordered from Curry and Momos through DoorDash and tried three items: Chicken 65, Chicken Chow Mein, and Jhol Momo. Let’s start with the good stuff—the Chicken Chow Mein was amazing! The spices were spot on, and the flavors took me straight back to India. I’d come back just for that. Now for the not-so-good. The Chicken 65 was probably the worst I’ve had. It was just dry, fried chicken breast pieces with no seasoning—like, not even salt. Super disappointing. I was also excited to try the Jhol Momo, but it didn’t hit the mark either. The sauce wasn’t spicy at all and just felt really bland. So, overall, I’d skip the Chicken 65 and Momos, but I’ll definitely be back for the Chow Mein. That’s why it’s a 3-star experience for me.

I got the pad Thai (mix) and garlic naan. The portion was really good for a food truck. The owner was super friendly. He asked me what spice level I wanted. It was just the right amount of spicy, and he wasn’t shy in adding it either. Nothing’s more disappointing than asking for something spicy and getting served something bland. I didn’t have an issue with here. They cater, too. So, I will definitely come back.

Made a stop at this food truck while up north, the chicken chilli Momos were spot on, soft succulent pieces and a good portion. Also got the mixed fried rice which was a great portion, and tasty. The staff were friendly and also gave me a cup of milk tea while I waited for the food on a cool evening. Overall a good food truck which serves great momos and other Nepalese and indian food.

I would happily give a negative rating if there is one. Just don’t be fooled by the 5 start reviews like us. It’s crazy wait time for the average food you get and they don’t tell you proper time. Initially he said 30 mins and we just waited there along with our baby and we went and asked after 15-20 mins and he said more 10-15 mins and we were pissed and asked him again at 30 mins and got to kow they didn’t even start our order and 2 more were waiting before. The owner apologied saying that they have only one burner and taking long time to everyone’s turn (I was like what?? They opened just recently and are very short staffed and importantly just one burner.yeah, just the momos are good which my wife ordered and I ordered Thai food which was very very average. And we got the food after 1hr. Please avoid this place unless you have lots of time to waste here just for those momos. Or just order online 1 or 2 hrs before you food time and call them and make sure it’s ready and then go and pickup. I would never ever go to this...

Curries and Momos is a hidden gem in Pflugerville, offering authentic and delicious Nepalese cuisine. We recently had the pleasure of trying their momos and samosa chat, and we were not disappointed. The momos were a standout, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The samosa chat, while flavorful, was a bit heavy on the yogurt, which overpowered the other ingredients. One of the best things about Curries and Momos is the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The owner was incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home. Plus, there was plenty of parking available, making it easy to visit. If you're looking for a delicious and authentic dining experience, we highly recommend checking out Curries and Momos. Their momos...
