I wanted to share my experience at this place, as it was my first time visiting and unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst experience I’ve ever had at a donut shop.
When I walked in, the man behind the counter hooted at me instead of greeting me professionally. Then he asked what I wanted in a very dismissive and unfriendly tone. The customer service was shockingly poor and the worst I’ve encountered in a long time. When I went to pay, he told me the card machine wasn’t working and that I had to pay cash. Strangely, just a few seconds later, the machine worked again. After I sat down and waited for his other customers to leave, to politely give him some feedback about how he came across as rude and unwelcoming. Instead of listening, he became aggressive, mouthed off at me, and acted like he wanted to start a confrontation. I had no intention of arguing. I just wanted to let him know how he made a first-time customer feel. His wife then came out and asked what was going on. I explained the situation calmly, and although she started off professional, she quickly became defensive and once she didn’t want to hear any more feedback. She even threatened to call the police simply because I was expressing my concerns. Before I could thank her for at least coming out to speak, she raised her voice and began insulting me. All I wanted was to get breakfast for my family on Easter morning — and instead of being met with kindness and hospitality, I experienced the exact opposite. To be fair, the younger employee working there was respectful and showed good customer service. And just before I left, the man who initially greeted me did apologize and shook my hand, which I appreciated — but the damage was already done. I still don’t understand why he hooted at me in the first place — he claimed he does that with regulars. But as a first-time customer, a simple “Good morning, sir. What can I get for you?” would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, I won’t...
Read moreI shared with the manager and the front counter lady this morning that their donuts are starting to taste recycled and they got upset. And then I asked if they received any feedback from other customers and of course he said yes, but all the feedback he gets is positive. I don't want to shop or eat at a perfect business. What are you hiding? So the donuts taste at least a day old. My family and I have gotten donuts here since the grand opening, it walking distance from our house. And I will never go there again. They don't taste fresh anymore. Taste like Walmart donuts. If don't listen to your customers you will not survive in business. Textbook....
Read moreMy favorite donut shop around town. The donuts are fluffy and delicious. They have such a good selection of flavors. My favorite’s are red velvet, blueberry, and classic chocolate. I also recommend they’re kolaches which are just as delicious as they’re donuts!
So I came here to change my review because the Asian woman that works the counter is very rude. I have been here on multiple occasions and notice that she gives good customer service to white people and will be rude to African Americans. I cannot stand racism a hatefulness for no reason. We have to do better as people. Today was the last time I will be giving this establishment...
