Waffle House — Restaurant in Phenix City

My food had to be remade but the food was not the problem. The extremely rude workers were the problem and no not rude to me but to another associate, billy. Never in my life have I ever heard people talk to there coworkers the way every associate there did to him. ESPECIALLY with customers front and center hearing and seeing the terrible treatment towards him. He was probably the one of the sweetest people and you could tell it was genuine. I could tell he was overwhelmed because out of the 4 associates working at the time, with me being there for atleast 30 minutes, he was THE ONLY person I seen take an order or service anyone. Ive served for 3+ years so I completely understand so after him constantly apologizing I made sure to let him know it was no rush and he was okay. One girl who had not touched anything just chilling behind the counter even yelled at him while he was in mid conversation with me about my order. The older man with the glasses was the most rude. And if it wasn’t a rude comment directly, it was sure going to be rude slick talk that was still loud enough for not only him to hear but myself and anyone else as well. No matter how bad they talked and yelled at him, he continued to greet every guest with a smile but after for a split second I could see all over him how miserable they were making him feel and I am DISGUSTED. This is a wonderful Waffle House! I went earlier in the morning (around 7:00) so there were not many people at all. I firstly went to the restroom to use it and wash my hands and it was incredibly cleaner than most other ones I have been to! When sitting, I had a little bit of a wait, but that was mainly due to there only being two workers at the time and they were cooking the other customers order. I only waited about 5 minutes though. When the server did come, he was very sweet! I got coffee, which I never do because of how picky and specific I am with it, but am glad I did! When I told him I needed a lot of creamer, he took this very seriously and brought me a small bowl filled with them! He also brought another to go bowl for the trash! So sweet! I ordered my usual (the all star) which has a lot of food so I figured it would be a bit of waiting, as another customer entered. I was wrong. It only took about maybe 5 minutes and I had my order! And boy was it delicious! The eggs were cooked perfectly how I wanted them, bacon was crispy like I love, the toast was perfectly toasted and the waffle? 🤌🏻🤤 He constantly checked to make sure I didn't need anything, and after eating, I asked if it was possible to add a coca cola to go onto my order slip. Dinner and a show but show was longer. 2 ladies 1 still new came in around 4 am and got our food around 5 am. Our order was one of the first but forgotten about more than once highly stressful night for the staff and didn't tell us they were out of what we wanted till the 30 min mark. We asked for syrup n silverware for my waffle she sed yes but forgot. I was told we couldn't eat in but not all our food was done yet n had to wait another half hour so I didn't want it to get cold ended up finding syrup on a table and just eating it with my hand. Food tasted amazing and the girls started arguing and tea was spilled so it kept us entertained for a bit but we got sick of waiting and asked for a refund after resisting going back up several times like the other customers but then the worker said she couldn't deal with it.
