Would you like to eat at a place in which there is a beautiful aura, amazing r&b music, surrounded by beautiful art? Moreover, the only thing better than their aura, is their food? If yes, Rhythm & Brunch would be the place you would desire. Rhythm & Brunch serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the entire day. Rhythm & Brunch is known for their food presentation, taste, and also their prices. Rhythm & Brunch is known in Philadelphia for their remarkable food presentation and customer service. Rhythm & Brunch is a cordial, family oriented restaurant. They are conveniently located in Southwest Philadelphia, 6517 Elmwood avenue. The chef Tarik is passionate about how he prepares his highly rated food. No matter what your appetite may desire, whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner, whatever you chose on their menu, Chef Reeky makes everyone's plate unique. His most popular dish is his delectable chicken and waffles. They are delicious, perfectly proportioned and neatly displayed on a beautiful black dish, no paper products. Each serving of their chicken and waffles are neatly plated topped with a sweet sliced cascading strawberry, and sprinkled with a light layer of confectioners sugar to top it off. The waffles are so tasty. I never tasted anything like them. The wingdings are fried to perfection. Most customers usually take time to snap a picture with their cell phones to post it on social media sites, such as, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. And if you were to tag them they always repost their customers’ reviews. No one ever finish their meal in its entirety, if they do indeed order the chicken and waffles .The waffles are almost impossible to finish, leaving you quickly satisfied, simply because the portion is so satisfying. However, the chicken and waffles are not the only great thing found on Rhythm & Brunch’s menu. There are a wide array of hearty meals to choose from. There is a dish to please each individual’s palate from omelettes to t-bone steaks. The presentation isn't the only thing that keeps me coming back, It's the taste. Every bite of their food is delectable, like a piece of heaven. Rhythm & Brunch are known for their chicken and waffles, however, my favorite is chef Reeky’s party grits served with a side of salmon, “because I like extra”. This entree is very fulfilling, it is a hardy meal. The grits are made freshly from scratch. They are thick, buttery, cheesy and creamy, "just the way I love them!” The colossal shrimp are well seasoned and so succulent. The salmon is always to die for, the best salmon I've ever tasted! It's always perfectly seared and/or grilled to perfection, making it irresistible. Each time I visit Rhythm & Brunch I'm never disappointed. The moment my food arrives it's easily devoured…always leaving me satisfied. Most important thing about Rhythm & Brunch, to me, is their reasonable prices on the menu. It has everything to offer that an exorbitant restaurant would, without it costing an arm, and a leg. This makes it easier to celebrate any special occasions, including birthdays, and so forth. I have actually seen people hold business meetings. It also makes it easily affordable to share a decent meal with a large family on a budget. I would recommend Rhythm & Brunch, ideally for their breakfast although, their menu items are as long as my arm. My favorite will always be their breakfast selection. If ever visiting Philly, Rhythm & Brunch is a must! And ask to see the owner, Chef Reeky, he will come out personally to greet you with open arms and complimentary funnel cake fries! Tell...
Read moreI recently found this establishment on Dec 16, 2018 via ubereats. I LOVED the food and spent abt $32 that day. I was so excited because it's a black owned business and actually had breakfast food I enjoyed ( I'm very picky). I was so happy about that experience that I had began to share the stores info with close loved ones attempting to hopefully bring the store more profit. I then order again on Dec 18, 2018 (or 19th have to look at my ubereats reciept) and spent like $38 because I wanted others to experience such tasty food. Only this time my experience wasn't so great. I was missing food THAT I PAID FOR and didn't know till food arrived 40mins later and I was starving And UPSET! I called store directly to state my case and see what could be done. Was barely greated by young lady who came off very nonchalant and dismissive. Never apologized and instead told me to contact ubereats for a refund. I DONT WANT A REFUND I JUST WANTED MY FOOD!!! I even asked to speak to a manager to see what could be done maybe on a future order because of THEIR ERROR but the young girl said she was the only one there and there was nothing that could be done. So I was VERY upset. Contacted ubereats via email and after like a day was refunded. Never heard from anyone from the restaurant etc. Its like no one cared. To make matters worse I was bed ridden due to surgery and could only eat a specific diet due to medication and stitches in my mouth. So it's not like I could jump in my car and drive down to store to get my things. I explained this to the young lady over the phone as she informed me I could drive to the store or contact ubereats. I'm ordering online for a reason!!! Shouldnt have to pay delivery fees for half my food and be refunded for the rest simply because someone dropped the ball. Really wanted to continue to order here but was honestly afraid to spend ALOT of my hard earned money ($30 plus dollars a order) and run the risk of this happening again.
Really hope I hear from management on...
Read moreI’ve been ordering from this place for years. Sometimes 2 and 3 times a week. The food is cool although a bit overpriced. Today I tried using their direct website instead of DoorDash or Uber eats for the first time. The order would not go through after trying for about 20 minutes so I called the store and shared the problem I was having. The young lady who answered the phone seemed uninterested and did not offer to assist in resolving the issue. I even asked would she take my delivery order over the phone. Now I have to stop eating at this place because this young lady didn’t invest in assisting this loyal customer.
Update Response to Owner 6/24/2024: Calling the business was an attempt to get assistance in continuing to spend my $$ with you at either of your restaurants or when considering you as a recommendation when the office has a huge order or the family wants food, etc. I have put a bunch of people on to this place and the other location. Just to be clear what happened yesterday was not my first hiccup while dinning through the years. The internet is how you seek quick resolutions, especially as it relates to a business. After being frustrated with the lack of help I received at your business via telephone this medium is very fitting. That way the owner has an opportunity to redirect this experience I received from that young lady or blame the customer for all current and potential customers to observe how you to do business and handle a customer’s bad experience. A public review gives a business an opportunity to make...
