We were excited to see a new restaurant open in the neighborhood and had high hopes that it would stand out from the many other Chinese spots in the area. Unfortunately, this one falls short in almost every way.
While the food was served hot and fresh, that’s about the only positive. The flavors were bland and completely lacking. We specifically asked for extra spicy, and what we received had less than zero heat, truly disappointing. Portion sizes were also quite small for the price.
This was our second visit, hoping for improvement, but sadly it was another letdown. We won’t be returning.
Additionally, the restaurant is cash-only, which is inconvenient in 2025. Not being able to use cards or order through delivery apps like DoorDash is limiting. They even have an existing drive-through window that could’ve been a great opportunity but, it goes unused for anything innovative.
In a neighborhood full of Asian restaurants, this place needs to rethink its menu to survive. Something unique, like ramen, dim sum, Thai dishes, or anything beyond standard American-Chinese fare could help set them apart (besides the wings). As of now there are so many better choices...
Read moreI've always wanted to be a first review. The place is clean (obviously they just opened). The cashier is still learning the ropes, so ordering was a little rough. I met the owner nephew who was a really nice e guy. Now the food! I got sesame chicken combo with pork lo mein and it was very tasty. The chicken was actual chicken, not gristle like most other places, was cook well and was very flavorful. Lo mein was also well cooked and rich in flavor, with lots of veggies and pork bits. Biggest take away was that everything tasted fresh and clean oil was used. Most Chinese spots have that greasy taste to them.My only complaint is that the portion was small for the price. If you look at my pictures the container was a little more than half full. Most spots fill the whole thing. Was actually still hungry after. All and all pretty good spot in the neighborhood....
Read moreOnly 2 complaints I have was they didn’t ask if I wanted anything on my wings and fries. It was a pick up order. And not enough shrimp inside my shrimp roll lol. But, the combination of Chinese fried wings and French fries represents comfort food at its finest. It’s the kind of meal that satisfies on multiple levels – familiar enough to feel like home, exotic enough to feel like an adventure. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner or late-night indulgence, this pairing delivers satisfaction in every bite. Would I return? Absolutely. In fact, I’m already planning my next visit. Perfect for: Casual dining, sharing with friends, satisfying those specific fried...
