Dunkin' — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Conveniently located for those in the surrounding neighborhoods who need a caffeine fix. I have found that many people are more impressed with the coffee than with the baked goods they are supposed to be famous for. I don't drink coffee so I have only gone in for a breakfast sandwich or croissants - or for a donut if I really had a craving. Depending on who is serving you and the time of day, your croissant may be fresh, warm, and buttery or stale and/or overdone. Breakfast sandwiches are greasy but satisfying if you crave a quick bite full of carbs, fat, and salt. Donuts taste factory made. Staff friendliness varies. Panhandlers are often in the area. After a certain hour (6? 7? 8?) you can only order from the drive-thru, which is really inconvenient if you are on foot and have a craving for Dunkin'...

Giving this review because there are “beggars” that wait at the drive through window. At first I thought ok one or two, but this is an actual hot spot for beggars if you go through the drive through. If you’re a frequent customer it can be a bit much to see this all the time.

Update: for the first time a person walked up to the “order here” kiosk as I’m talking to the person on the intercom placing my order. I was already in the process of ordering so I finished my order but they stared me down. Keep in mind my window was down as they walked up didn’t say anything to me but just gave me a sad face while looking at me the entire time demanding my attention. Im surprised they're running.. They seriously need new management there. It appears to be new people that don't have any idea on what they're doing. Its kinda hard to mess up on coffee. Coffee taste old and they just keep in warm. Dump it! nobody wants old coffee that sat in the pot for over 20mins. They always get simple orders wrong and forget and assign people the wrong orders, no matter what time you go in there. Its a shame and big inconvenience to go some place else of a great distance knowing they're just down the street from my house. If it's so bad that i had to go out my way to write this review, its something wrong. Hopefully they get better. Never had a problem anywhere else, This one store been like this...
