I normally do not have issues with this location and my family and I frequent this place a lot however, recently that has changed. Whether this is the fault of the location or Dunkin' Donuts corporate I'm not sure but twice now we have ordered things off the app when we went to go pick it up it was not available. By not available I mean the oven wasn't on or something of the sort in which we could not get our order.
Normally I'd be fine with that, ok maybe you're cleaning up a little earlier and business have been slower than usual HOWEVER, there has to be a way to refund us or at least give us a receipt. Today we ran into that situation where we ordered hot items and when we went to go pick it up we were told we would have to come back in 30 minutes to get the order because the oven wasn't heated and we couldn't get a refund or a receipt. A RECEIPT!
Now I get it, I used to work in food business too and sometimes you can't provide things to the customer because you ran out or things are shut down for the day but at least let the customer know. If the orders are coming from the app, does that not go into your system? Maybe the app does not have our numbers but there should at least be something to contact us to let us know of the situation or at least give the location the ability to refund us.
What really got me was the fact that the worker would not give us a receipt because she said she could only print one. Now I don't know how it is at Dunkin' but does your POS system not allow you to reprint the receipt? If not then corporate needs to modify that app to allow locations to do so.
Again this could just be a corporate problem and this is an unfortunate situation that this location has to deal with but honestly, instead of fighting us back about the receipt they should have done more. I'm not asking for much but I honestly feel cheated at this location. It's only a few bucks but this is not the first time this happened and the person at the shop that we were talking about this really was not helping. In fact they were just exacerbating the problem. This is not the first time we have had issue with this person either.
The other time we had issue with our order this person was not helpful at all and just the situation worse. Any other worker has always been pleasant to us besides this person. Honestly, I'm not here to come after someone's job or anything because that isn't right but at least be helpful instead of having an attitude every single time we go there and screwing something up...
Read moreDunkin' Donuts service has become worst than ever. Particularly at this one. The employees are often rude and unprofessional. Cursing loudly amongst each other in the store. You NEVER get what you order and in most cases I usually have time to check. Today I was in a bit of a hurry, so I preordered and went on my way. Not only did I not get what I ordered but it should’ve been a red flag how the person sneakily put the order on the counter out of my reach. NEVER told me they didn’t have what I ordered or gave me the option to choose my own replacements or get a refund. I am allergic to chocolate and generally wouldn’t order any of these donuts. On top of that they all are stale and look like someone pinched or played with them all. Every time I go to Dunkin' especially this one; I’m reminded why I no longer like or frequent Dunkin'. I used to be a daily customer I’m now down to maybe 1-3 times a year, if that; and each time...
Read moreI visit this Dunkin Donuts near 5th street and Tabor road and the cashier wants to argue with me about a plain donut and a glaze donut and I explained to her a glaze donut is not considered a plane donut because it's covered with glaze. If a customer comes in and ask for a plain donut you know what that customer is referring to why is it that the cashiers insist on the customer using the term Old fashioned when they know that I want a plain donut it's not polite to argue with a customer When you fully understand what they're referring to. And believe it or not this happened at several other locations only one Dunkin donuts at 5th and Wyoming Avenue cashier got it right. And I think she just started working there and she is very polite I have a special surprise for this young...
