Eat-In & Take-Out Pancake Café Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I am writing this review on December 8th, 2018. Today while I was waiting for my food at pancake cafe for an extensive amount of time, another guest got my attention to inform me that there was a roach crawling on the wall next to my booth. as I looked to the left I noticed that what she said was true and to resolve the issue I alarmed the owner of the dinner that there was a roach at my booth. She killed the roach and I continued to wait for my food unfortunately. After waiting almost 30 mins for my meal, I began to eat and carry on with my regular scheduled programming. While I was eating my meal that I so patiently waited for, I than saw another roach crawling on the other side of the seating booth where I was eating and I immediately alarmed one of the waiters for the second time. I was halfway through my meal at this time and I was unfortunate enough to have lost my appetite and I than demanded the owners attention and refused to pay. The owner then became angry with me and her and the waiters began to force me out of the dinner. This is a disgusting dinning establishment and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Imagine is that roach made its way into someone’s food?Not family, children...

I bought 1 platter for my son l can't believe it came to $17.00 for breakfast I was expecting the normal eight or nine but not that.What was $11 the owner,asian women never even took the time to explain to me the itemized list as if I was getting on her nerves or causing a problem. It's a good thing I didn't order anything my son asked me why I wasn't buying anything well now he knows. All he got was turkey sausage, scrambled eggs side of grits and French toast, one orange juice so what was $11? Their prices are way too high and ridiculous for one platter for breakfast never again. The owner is at the cash registers pushing buttons like crazy and doesn't have the time to explain to her customers what the prices are I thought that was rather rude, I didn't care for her disposition sometimes you don't have to speak to...

Never been one to downplay ones business, but when you feel comfortable with treating my people like sh!t it’s a major problem for me. I just witnessed a older lady inform the owner that her sausage was burnt. Instead of fixing her complaint. She gave her a excuse about everyone else that orders it. Never attempting to give her what she paid for. Then to add insult to injury. The older lady chose to just leave with it. The owner stopped her to tell her she didn’t pay for her food. Even going as far as taking the bag out of her hand. Only to have the waitress tell her it was paid for. We can’t keep accepting anything people. I will never support this...
