Green Leaf — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Good Evening Google. Not at all sure why Google prompted me to write a review, when clearly this is not the first time I have been here and I have already written a review for this establishment. Yolanda, my sweet sister friend, and I both ordered the shrimp and grits. I forgot that most places give you cheese in the grits. I had started eating it, not knowing there was cheese in the grits. I absolutely hate cheese in my grits, I prefer to eat mine plain. I then asked for another order and our server said since I had already eaten some of it, I had to pay for the new order. I had already told her that I would pay for it, no problem. Some people just don't listen. Anyway, my fellowship with Yolanda was wonderful and we finally left after being there for about 2 hours. We probably would have stayed longer but I had to go to work and Yolanda had an engagement as well. I paid for everything and we split. I will never visit Green Leaf again in this lifetime. My Fiancé & I Looked Up Breakfast Near Us & Found This Place On Google. We Called Ahead & Asked If It Was Busy Because I Saw Reservation Options On Google. The Lady On The Phone Told Me They Are Busy But We Can Come In & Seat Ourselves. We Came & Did Just That Around 11:40am & Even Though It Appeared There Was Only 1 Maybe 2 Servers We Were Finished With Our Meal By 12:20pm & Didn’t Feel Like We Waited Long For Anything. The Food Was Delicious & The Portions Were Generous. I Really Commend The Two Women Who Were Working There They Did An Amazing Job. I Also Appreciate The Ambiance, It Is Nicely Designed & Has A Cozy Vibe, They Also Played Really Nice Music (1990s/2000s R&B). I Had The California Omelette & My Fiancé Had The Big Breakfast #3. Didn’t feel very welcomed. They checked everyone’s table to insure they were satisfied needed anything or if refills were necessary. Not our table. The one host didn’t even ask, she just took the condiments off our table to give to another guest. The service is a mix of mediocrity and nonchalance at best. But enough of them.
