Disappointed that new management did not keep original recipes from the first owner now the food isn't the same (and not in a good way). The first owner was the son of the couple who owned the store next door, I used to go there in the 80s and 90s whenever I visited my grandmother. When the owner's son became an adult they split the store and opened Jake's Place and kept the convenience store with reduced inventory. I ordered on Grubhub and was called almost immediately to clarify my order and inform me of the price adjustment due to add ons I requested. Love and appreciate that. Downhill from there. I can’t say enough good things about this place! The food is absolutely delicious—everything is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. On top of that, the customer service is outstanding.
