Lucky Star Asian Cuisine — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried was good BUT the SPICEY TUNA ROLL was DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTING! I ate one with the ginger and wasabi and I knew something tasted very iffy. I tried another piece with the soy sauce and I knew it was definitely the tuna! It tasted like canned tuna, not even spicy! When I called the male waiter over I said “It tasted bad, I don’t like it. Can I get a shrimp tempura roll instead” he was immediately rude to me and said “there’s nothing I can do to help you, there’s no replacing anything. I can call the manager but I’m not do anything for you” the female manager came over and just said it’s spicy and how I’m not used to it, the tuna is fresh and since I already ate two pieces (out of 6) there was nothing she could do for me either. She advised me to pack it up and get someone else at home to eat it. Just by looking at it it looked like cat food, that I wouldn’t even serve to a cat on the street! Doordash didn't function. Called the restaurant. Asked if they delivered. Said yes. Weird, what a novel concept, Chinese food delivery directly from the restaurant! Gave my address and number. Placed an $80 delivery. Waited an hour and a half...nothing. Called the restaurant, they said they only deliver through door dash. Never told me pick up only!!!! Raised hell, drove there, picked up my "delivery," and it was awful. Despite my initial calamity, here is an honest review of the food. In my top 3 worst take out foods ever. Sushi was smashed in the container, what a mess. Opened the container and the all the sushi topping was stuck to the top of the container. How appetizing. Lo Mein was the worst. Noodles tasted like 3 day old left overs in my fridge. Fried rice was white rice with frozen vegetables. How many things can I stack on this review!!!!!!!! Please, just...

On some other day, I might have given this restaurant a better rating but maybe this just wasn’t their (or our) day!

For Starters, we ordered steamed veg dumplings which said they would be filled with carrots, mushrooms and cabbage - what came out was a set of shriveled-up dried green balls stuffed with bokchoy and spinach. Upon asking what it was, we were told the veg dumplings had been served this way for 16 years! And then our server proceeded to ask what was our problem with it!?!

For the main course, we ordered the spicy shrimp and scallops but the dish had no sign of scallops. Upon pointing it out to the server, he proceeded to use our chopsticks to retrieve the shrimp one piece at a time from our plates to take the entreé back to the kitchen (no joke!)!

The taste of most of the items was not bad but the service was so god-awful that our experience was totally ruined!...
