Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Horrible! TLDR: I'm a doordasher and have also ordered here twice. DoorDashing I've seen 2 people quit, multiple times employees bickering/fighting amongst themselves infront of customers, and making snide remarks to eachother. Ordering from here I was waiting for over an hour. This places really needs to educate their employees on workplace standards, communication, problem analysis, and teamwork.

As a DoorDasher in the Manayunk/Roxborough area, I come to Chiptole often to pick up orders. I honestly can't count on one hand how many times I've seen employees here fight/bicker with eachother. I remember once this lady was yelling at a man, then walked out from the food station and sat by a table without her mask on on the phone for more than 10 minutes all food orders were delayed. Earlier this week I had a double order for Chiptole and Applebees (right next to Chiptole). There was another fight among the employees (right infront of everyone by the takeout shelf) and one of the employees who was arguing mentioned the low retention rate at this Chiptole location. At this point I decided to cancel the order since food would be 15 mins late (I'd already been waiting for 10 minutes). I drive down to the Applebees and pickup the food. Loewen behold I see one of the ladies from Chiptole walking on the sidewalk and I haven't seen her since. I've never seen the same faces in this Chiptole for more than 2-3 weeks (other than the one male chef). Oh did I also mention on more than 2 ocasions I've walked in to pick up an order and the food isn't on the shelf and I sit there for 5 minutes. I finally would get tired and ask them if they have the name in their system and sure enough the food is all bagged up but isn't placed on the shelf, its just sitting there in the bagging station.

Unorganized, unprofessional, constant emploee problems/bickering with lack of workplace training, broken computers, and unmotivated staff. I really have to say this is one of the worst places in all of Roxborough. Remember when Roxborough was excited for Chiptole? I think Chiptole has lost our respect and certainly mine. I'll only come here for...

I'm very upset right now. I've worked in over 8 restaurants in my life including McDonald's and Quiznos, fine dining restaurants, Olive Garden, and several others so I understand the dynamics. I walked into the Chipotle located on 701 E Cathedral Rd, Philadelphia, PA 19128 at 9:29 PM. There were 3 employees; 2 African American men and one Caucasian woman with blonde hair in a pony tail.

Prior to walking in, after I opened the door, I noticed the floor was wet from being mopped so I looked to the employees for assurance. They then told me they are only accepting online food orders. My wife and I walked to our car and immediately ordered two burritos on two phones with 2 different cards within 3 minutes. I was told my pick up time was 9:40 pm by YOUR website. At 9:40 when I went to walk in, the door was locked. The female employee then came to the door and told me that they were closed and there's nothing they can do and that I would have to request a refund. This is the same lady 10 minutes prior told me that they are only accepting orders online. I understand what's going on. They want to leave as early as they can being that it is Friday night so they clean up and with lack of management and supervision (despite being adults themselves), they do what they want. As a company, you're not only building a poor reputation in this community, you're letting hourly employees make decisions against rules that is hurting your values. I hope that these employees are AT LEAST verbally spoken to regarding this. Despite being conveniently close in proximity, I will not be coming back here due to their demeanor. If they wanted to close early, tell me at 9:30 pm when I walked in you are closed and I won't waste my time ordering online and writing this review. And sad to say, I had a bad feeling even after we were told to order online because of their demeanor. If Chipotle does in fact close at 9:30 or 9:40 pm, please update your website and ordering service to reflect this.

Hell naw! I ordered 2 bowls. Chicken rice black bean fajita veg. As I started eating I noticed the taste of Salt? It was harsh and heavy. Ive been eating at chipotle over 15 years never have I ever got super salty chicken pieces. I ask the supervisor with the dreads what's good about all the salt I taste. He informed me that's how it comes in. So with that I finish my salt meal I started eating while there trusting chicken came in like that. (Attitude horrrible) As I was eating I saw the same manager go to the grill and i feel poor a pound salt over the chicken. I ask for a refund he refused to give me money for what I ate. But would return one meal. Supposed to be healthy? Salt warnings like we are buying cigarettes? FDA? Dont go next door to applebees salt warnings there also. How do you take healthy food and turn it into I feel poisonous food. Its grilled chicken no need for any salt at all. Small salt packs? Salt it for ourselves. Not death Warning us like we are smoking cigarettes.This is food when we get caught out there hungry we have to eat. (Set up) Please stop treating us Americans like we are all stupid. Food should not come with dangerous salt amounts warnings.. Reach for something to eat and get a stroke or heart attack? Some people dont know they have high blood pressure problems. What I saw and attitude is absolutely unbecoming of chipotle. The lie then no full refund behind his own lie he just got caught in? Salt warning?. At least it looed just a little neater behind the counter. Tables all were dirty also. Finger prints all over front door. Line needed swept. You need people that truly care around food. Good luck. I will not ever ever ever eat there again. Now what am I going to do. Hopefully qdoba doesnt do the same. But people I am not holding my breath. I'll keep some pbj emergency sandwiches. No one should be allowed to salt another's food for them? Maybe I am the crazy one? Seems every food chain is loading you down with salt. But tha salad spot too? Yes! Come from the gym? Lol! Not!...
