Lucky star — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Ive been getting food from here since i was 16, I’m 30 now & I’ve never complained about anything until now. I ordered a small general tso chicken and a small sweet and sour chicken. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was bad. & the general tsos was horrible, not only did it taste like bad meat, It looks like beef or pork. My camera doesn’t do any justice to how dark this meat actually was. Smh.

I called back and spoke to the owners daughter and I knew as soon as she said “hold on” she was going to put Amy on the phone and the phone call was gonna be pointless. She got on the phone and was yelling and saying nobody else complained and I told her amy, you know I’ve never complained. I told her the chicken tasted bad and it looked like beef or pork & that I didn’t ask for my money back but that I would bring it back and show her and she was telling me at first that she could make it with white meat chicken and than she was telling me that she couldn’t & that I’d have to get something else. I told her after tasting that my appetite was completely gone & that I’d take the offer to get something else next time I come, but she was saying tonight or nothing. So nothing, ever again. I should’ve walked out when I peeped how the kitchen was looking but I went against my gut.

Everyone should take their business a block down to BoWah. Great food & they don’t yell at their customers.

Delivery drivers are always in and out fast, even as the restaurant takes walk-in orders at the same time. Cash only, with ATM in store. Open way late!!

The dumplings are the nice thin-wrapper crispy style too 🤌 not thick pre-frozen ones. (Everything they offer is so dang good, those are just our favorite.) They added takoyaki and milk tea to the menu recently, haven't tried...

My son order large Popcorn chick with sweet and sour sauce, for me. I was sitting by him when he ordered. She gave him sweet and sour chicken instead. I called to let the store know. The mother started fussing at me being disrespectful..I will never order from them again. I will let my family and friends know what happened and ask them never to order from them again.. Poorest customer...
