First order, we used Grubhub because we live in 19154 and thought we would be too far for free local delivery but know now we were wrong. Chubby Chubby Chubby. Mr Chubby I know how you got your name. With food this good now I'm chubby too. We ordered the cream Chip beef platter with hashbrowns. With me living in Pennsylvania now for almost 30 years. This is the first place that I think that comes close to the cream chip beef that I make, That's a Baltimore recipe. Wife loved the pancakes with extra crispy bacon. We order her some Hash Browns with Peppers and onions and it was a great big order for only $5 and change that was out of this world. We got a Design Your Own Omelet and it was the biggest omelet that I ever saw, and we eat at Shady Maple Smorgasbord sometimes. Have seen this place many times but always closed and after our son gave us the low down of his orders and hours opened I had to give this place a shot and was not disappointed. I come here from Bensalem for breakfast every so often. I like the friendly service and big portions. Especially the home fries. There been times I just ordered the home frys for a good snack but they give you enough to make it a meal. I like the eggs and the Grilled cheese steak sandwich. They can get very busy at times here. I recommend calling in a order and picking it up or if you live near by they deliver too. I think it's free delivery too. Prices are fair. Service is great and the food is good. Not my favorite place for food but good enough for return visits. I will be back. Especially for the homefrys if for nothing else but they have good sandwiches too. I went this cute small take out restaurant and I ordered French Toast with Hash browns. The French toast is unbelievably amazing! The taste of French toast is the bomb and this is worth your money for an reasonable price. The hash browns wasn’t that great. Need to be cooked deeply with well done and the onions weren’t fried enough. I got an good French toast and an bland hash browns. I would come back again for French toast for sure but hash browns I don’t think so, if you want to prove me wrong then I’m happy to come back again to make sure to double check with hash browns.
