De Jesus deli grocery LLC — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I placed my order through their in store kiosk today, Sunday, April 6th, for 2 Tuna Hoagies and 1 Tuna Sandwich for the very first time. The guy preparing the food told me they did not have enough Tuna for all 3, only 1. So, I asked that 2 be made Chicken salads and 1 a Tuna Hoagie. That's when he told me he didn't have enough Chicken salad for both a Hoagie and Sandwich and was persistent on pushing a Turkey Sandwich on me instead.

I settled for 1 Tuna Hoagie, 1 Chicken salad Hoagie, and 1 Turkey sandwich. That's NOT what I intended on. That was disappointing. However, the REAL problem and the reason for this review is what happened when I went to eat the "Tuna" Hoagie. It was NOT Tuna fish at all! When I pinched a little meat off the hoagie to try before my first bite, it tasted exactly like immitation crab meat or seafood salad. I have had plenty of Tuna fish to know this was not. It was disgusting! I would not recommend it to anyone!

Before this review, I called there to make them aware of the situation. I believe the guy who answered the phone was the same one making the food. He tried to dispute the issue and tell me it was Tuna. I began to sense an attitude when I told him it wasn't, and realized my call was getting me nowhere. I will never take a chance on their Tuna Hoagies ever again. I am no fool.

We were riding bikes down the Pennypack trail and stopped in for some lunch. Very clean and inviting place; they have a good selection of sandwiches and hot lunch items - we decided to try the fish sandwiches which were great.
