From the first day when you meet with Alex, an incredibly smart and friendly business manager, you will be sold that this is the school you want to go to for your CDL. Alex is a smart, friendly guy who you come away from the conversation realizing, yeah THIS is where I want to get my CDL. The classroom prep for your permit is where you begin your journey, meet your brothers and sisters on the quest, and learn everything it takes to pass your permit test. You'll immediately bond with your instructor (Melo is one of the kindest and most generous guys you'll ever meet) and your classmates as you embark on one of the most challenging experiences of your life. Once you get into the yard, prepare to be motivated and challenged by some of the coolest instructors you'll ever meet. You will never forget Pedro, David, Tim, and Dave as they bust your butt, encourage you, ask you "what the F are you DOING ?!! when you mess up, blow the whistle on you, but in the end be there and shake your hand and slap you on the back because you listened and learned from their amazing and passionate direction to acquire the skills needed to succeed in this industry. If you are truly motivated and disciplined to put the work into making it in this biz, there are no better people that will help you achieve your goal. I can't wait to move ahead in this career with the confidence that Global CDL instilled in me and I can't wait to come back and visit the guys who made it possible. On my way out, Alex said to me, "You know you're always family here," and I truly felt that as I left with my diploma and a glowing feeling of satisfaction that I was taught and earned a great skill for my future. You who are reading, I want to say something that the school told me from day one (Nothing is impossible and we will help you don't worry), and I say it with all the words and how much I'm grateful for you teachers who taught me took their time of you to dedicate myself to mine and fulfill a dream of mine, I can say all the words that I can praise you at Global School and it won't be enough to express to me how grateful I am to you all. I want to thank Melo for encouraging me from my first day when I came to school by telling me the school is ready to teach me everything I need to be a truck driver, J&J for telling me I'm capable where I thought I wouldn't. achieve and that he believed in me as he believes in every student who passes through the school, thank you Jeff for your tranquility when you go out on the street with me, give me confidence, as I had never been in a truck in my life and still believe as much as I am capable , thank you Dave for every word I said with what little I know of English you be clear in your teachings and words tell me that I enjoyed every second with you and thank Prince I had little contact but I know his ability to teach because everyone who went through it told me he was a great person and was my examiner and left me super relaxed and comfortable on the final day of the test. THIS IS THE SCHOOL YOU WANT TO COME TO!!! This school is freaking awesome! I came here on a recommendation and I’m so glad I took his advice. I signed up in December 2017 and tested out just 14 business days later. The instructors are WAY better than the instructors at the other local CDL schools. They take the time to make sure you understand everything being taught and are with you 100% of the time unlike other schools that just group you up and and leave you alone. These instructors actually care about making you a complete CDL driver, capable of conquering any challenges you may face on the road in the real world. You’ve got to understand, when you get behind the wheel of a tractor trailer people’s lives are at stake. Wrong decisions can cost lives and this school properly prepared me to be the best damn driver coming out of CDL school. They gave me step-by-step instructions of how to maneuver my vehicle safely and correctly but more importantly step-by-step instructions of how to correct any problems or mistakes that may come my way. We practiced and practiced and practiced until I was able to do everything without mistakes and then we practiced making mistakes so I could learn how to easily correct my mistakes. If you want to be a CDL-A driver come here. Oh and the driving course is great. I have 3 friends currently enrolled in the other 3 local CDL schools (I don’t want to name drop but they’re the first ones that pop up when you google CDL training in Philadelphia) and we’ve compared every aspect of each school and we’re all in agreement that this is the best school around.
