Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard — Restaurant in Philadelphia

The young lady at the window was very nice. There wasn't an incredibly long amusement park line. Usually there is. I thought, 'happy day,' especially because it was so hot. It was nice until I found a pubic hair--yes--a pubic hair in the bottom of my large gelato. I had already eaten most of it!!! Don't go to the Rita's on Stenton Avenue in Philadelphia. You will find unwanted ingredients in your water ice. I will never go there again!!! You can chance it if you want. Maybe you have a fetish. No judgment here. But I don't. AND!!!! Now, I'm afraid of getting sick. When are they going to add the possibility of giving no stars? Pubic hair...

Super friendly staff, the young ladies are very polite. The reason why I say 3 stars is because being a former employee of Rita’s for about 8 years (from a teenager to early 20’s) I literally know everything about the products that are sold. With that being said they need to take better care of the custard. I can taste that they’re reusing old custard over and over. Most likely just adding new liquid custard to left over custard but making it not as tasty as it should be. Especially for the chocolate custard. Definitely needs to be thrown anyway and started fresh when they clean...

I ordered 3 quarts of water ice and 1 small cup . They sent me 1 quart and 1 small cup. ! They mixed up the flavors for the quart ! I wanted 3 different flavors not the hell mixed up ! Why would I select 3 different flavors and pay 31.60 to only receive 1 quart?? When I called to complain the girl who answered the phone was really rude ! She said that an employee was new . I said what does new have to do with anything? 3 quarts is 3 quarts!! Can she count ? Who in their right mind would pay for 1 quart a 1 small cup 31.60 ?? She grew quite. NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS...
