So let me start HERE. I'm extremely critical..so this is probably the ONLY review your gonna need. I don't know ow these folks..they didn't ask me to do this..bit ANYTIME I get good food...I need to let yall know! So... I ordered the seared salmon, greens Mac and cheese. My husband ordered the boneless jerk, rice and gravy amd Mac and cheese. We ordered from uber eats and both platters were SLAMMIN. flavor-10 texture-10 portion size-10. Cornbread was a little to cake like for me..but nothing to take away a star..its just not my preference. We both had leftovers for the next day. I would DEFINITELY order from here again..I WILL order from here again! My only compliant was it took a little long on uber. but it's because they are cooking to order..so I was cool with that because all the food came HOT. I love to see this in Black Owned restaurants. I only hope they keep the same intergrity..because this food takes just like ya grandmother made it!!! Im so sorry we didn't post pics..because as soon as u opened that food it...

I ordered Mac and cheese, yam, whitings, collard greens, rice over gravy and mussels. 3 stars because They had Really great service , the lady in the front was very sweet…the corn bread was probably one of best ! I’ve had , no exaggeration & it was the Best thing i had ordering here .The greens were good and i really liked the yams . I’ll say that much. the Mac definitely could’ve been better ! It was edible ! but not the greatest… but w the yams it wasn’t half bad… Flavors are there …just needs improvement as far as the texture /cheese and the fish was a bit dry..could've definitely used some more seasoning or some lemon Would’ve been cute to add. the rice & gravy wasn’t terrible ..just tasted like regular boxed Goya rice soo that was okay lol. Overall i would love to see them go far & make lil improvements cuz it wasn’t all bad and food def has potential to be even better .corn bread is definitely a winner tho! I had ordered the blackened catfish platter with mac and yams. The catfish was cooked to perfection! Not overfried, not over seasoned, everything was well balanced! Now for the mac, the Mac was great. I didn't know what to expect though, because Alot of soul food places in philly cant get it right(the mac), and i tried multiple soul food places. It seems as if either one thing is good but the other items are lacking. Not the case here.. Chillllllee lemme tell you lol cheese to mac ratio, Just right. Seasoning great! Thumbs up if i do say so myself. Lord knows im picky but when i say i was completely satisfied. I was completely satisfied. The cornbread was also good too. Definitely...
