Spruce Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I ordered from this take out restaurant today. I picked my order up and once home regretted not checking to make sure everything was okay. I ordered an egg platter with home fries. I only received half the platter with one maybe two scrambled eggs, no potatoes. I tried to make the best of it and just eat the eggs. As I tried to show in the attached picture. There was shells thought out the eggs. Therefore the platter was trash. I reached out as I ordered through Uber eats for pick up and was told that although they apologize that they could not refund me for the platter. This makes no sense, I have missing items and the one item that I did have was not edible. So I pretty much threw $10 away. Food was VERY HOT AND DELICIOUS! First time ordering with them(through GRUBHUB)… I don’t know what others are talking about, but the lady answering the phone was courteous and listened to what I ordered online and then conveyed to her!… I ordered: 2 eggs platter with Meat(Pork Scrapple), with eggs lightly scrambled with cheese, wheat toast with butter & 2 jellies on side, grits with cheese & a side of pork sausage. For my husband, he wanted: a beef bacon, egg & cheese sandwich on (inside of roll toasted ONLY) Kaiser roll & 2 medium ‘homemade’ Ice Teas. I LOVE THIS PLACE BEEN ORDERING FROM THEM FOR THE PAST 4 days on Uber eats breakfast is delicious. I definitely recommend and they pay attention to notes you place in the app. To the young lady who gave this place a 1star because of Uber eats girl Uber eats and those other driving services charge companies up thats why they hike the prices on the apps. If you can’t afford to order on Uber eats Grubhub etc go to the store. TAKEOUT IS A LUXURY YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD!!!!!!
